Controlled Death---Brand New Wolf Roleplay

<sup>This site is all about a pack of wolves that was created in the year 1997. This special breed of wolves was called the Libitina wolves. Libitina wolves were canines formed by the hands of scientists through genetic engineering and manipulation, solely for the purpose of saving the canis lupus species. Though the process of creating these wolves was a hard one, eventually the tests brought results. Each wolf created was hundreds of times stronger, faster, and smarter than your average canine. Libitina wolves gained a lot of media attention, and soon everyone sought to own one of these beautiful creatures, no matter what the cost. However, because the wolf pack was smarter and their brain functions were more advanced, that also brought a heightened sense of emotion. This could be both good and bad at times, and it created a sort of wariness in the eyes of the public. The loyalty and love that a Libitina showed was beyond comparison to any other animal. Everywhere their humans went, a Libitina was there, virtually attached at the hip. But when a wolf got angered, it became overwhelmingly aggressive, and all logic was tossed out the window. Anger seemed to consume their very beings with no remorse.

Many lives were lost, and the death toll reached 25 million or more. In order to control the wolves, in what was thought to be the safest way, the scientists required all wolves be brought back to the labs and required for them to be implanted with an amulet in their hearts. The scientists did not tell the owners of the Libitina wolves what would happen when they got these amulets, but it seemed to cure the aggression problem. In addition to this fact, the wolves seemed to acquire more abilities, so the owners were relieved.

The downside to the amulets was that they were slowly killing the wolves from the inside out. With each passing minute, the amulets released a certain dosage of poison, depending on the amulet’s size, shape, and coloration. When it was discovered that the amulets were destroying the species that people were out to save, they were shipped to a small continent called Mirrikh. That was three years ago, and the year is now 2000. At this current point in time, the remaining Libitina wolves are trying to create a new life for themselves, trying to survive, and most importantly, they are trying to escape this controlled death…
