You must have a pack to survive:
Things work a little differently here. All wolves must have a pack in order to survive in the game. All loners will die. Without a Pack, your wolf has no connection to a family, and thus no connection to the Planet. It is only through a Pack that you'll learn and retain the knowledge needed for survival.
All Loners will die:
Absolutely every wolf on this site, whether born here or created into the site will belong to a pack. Whether their birth pack, or their adoptive pack. When your wolf is without a pack, you have no connection to the Planet. Because your memories and survival are hand and hand with your family, if you are ousted from your pack via rule breaking or otherwise, your soul- the connection to Archaic and your family, is set to be destroyed. No one is certain of how long this process takes, all that is known is that you'll slowly lose your ability to survive. Because Archaic's creatures all are equipped with their own survival tactics, it's sacred knowledge of how to hunt them- knowledge only obtainable through a pack. So one morning, you could wake up longing to hunt Igotta, but not have the slightest clue how too even if you've been a lead hunter all of your life. The only way to survive is to join another pack, and that is a tricky endeavor. Having one with a torn soul is like having a newborn, and few alphas have the time or the resources to reconnect your soul to a new family. Death almost always is certain.
Only Healer/Helper wolves may be in a state of "Non Alliance":
Occasionally, a wolf is chosen to become a healer or helper wolf. This is a wolf that claims alliance to neither pack, but is driven to help all creatures. This wolf must have been raised within a pack, but like all whose ranks are gifted to them, upon maturity this wolf feels a calling to neither rank or their family. They become completely neutral. Thus, their soul is "split" and reconnected with the entire planet vs. just their family. These wolves are welcomed with open arms to both territories, and may den in either territory or not den in a territory at all. Their specific duty in life is to assist all beings, and being that they have alliance to neither, they may sometimes heal prey. They must not have been ousted from their birth pack, but must instead leave on their own accord with their birth family's blessings.
Any abuse of Powers will have you killed:
To abuse one's power is considered to be in disharmony with Archaic. So if your wolf is granted a power to live and do it's duties efficiently, and it is found abusing these powers- they will die. No questions or explanations required. This is to keep harmony within the game and to keep harmony between your wolf and the Planet.
Jager and Cerrac are in harmony:
Bret and Bella may be total butt heads, but it doesn't mean they can't be civil. Both of the packs maintain a silent alliance of peace between them for now. This doesn't mean that you can have your Jager wolf tromp onto Cerrac territory for your own amusement, and not expect a beating. Just as a Cerrac wolf may not tromp onto Jager territory and not risk a battle. All trespassers earn the right to get beat up, it is just another way to keep the peace. If you have official business with either of the packs, it would be wise to tread lightly in another pack land and make it clear as to why you're there.
