joining thread. Zephyr and Bella (maybe Rosa) are allowed to post.[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,474,true][atrb=height,500,true][atrb=cellPadding,25,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=background,http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/7449/moontable1.png][scrolly:w(176),h(365),sy] Nose to the ground, ears perked up in an alert state, and feet in quick motion, the female made her way in the direction of the Cerrac pack. She had known for quite a long time that this was going to be the place where she wanted to call home; her way of living. She had heard of the two packs in the area nonstop ever since she had moved into the place, and this one just peaked her interest the most. The alphess that led the pack, Bella, sounded extremely enticing to the young wolf, and she wanted more. Bret, the opposing alpha... let’s just say he had not fit her criteria of what she wanted most in life.
Now, she had known the general area of where this pack had been located, but she didn’t know exactly where to find it. She could smell the pack, and she had found the mountain where she heard it was located at... but how to get inside? She was left clueless, and her luck with finding the entrance seemed dim. She had been searching since early in the morning, hunting for the scent that led inside, but so far she had no luck. She just wished she could see a wolf that belonged here walk out or something; something that gave her a big clue where to head. With a sigh, she paused her stepping.
As she stood, she moved her eyes up and down the mountain, trying to find any source of an opening to the place. The rocks were much to hard for any normal wolf to climb, and they would wear anybody out trying to scale them just to get in. No smart wolf would ever want to settle down in there, for it would be way too difficult to get in and out which could potentially end up killing half of their possible members. No, there had to be another way in...
While her eyes scanned, she stopped for a brief moment to gaze at the waterfall. She smiled in it’s odd beauty, watching as it poured from the mountain and down to the river. The bottom was dangerous it seemed, as she could make out the smallest bit of slick pathway stone. She stared at the brown-grey stone for a moment, watching as some water fell on it and made it shiny when the sun hit. Almost instantly, however, she knew what she was doing wrong. That’s where the entrance was! As she followed the path with her eyes, she noticed the path move in behind the waterfall and open to a tiny cave.
Bella, you sly thing. She thought to herself as she moved toward the entrance, her feet set at a really quick trot. She didn’t pause this time, as she stepped over the slippery rock and behind the waterfall to the cave entrance. In here she paused, as suddenly the scent markers smacked her nice straight on. This was definitely how they got in and out of the mountain, for it reeked of the alphess. She planted her butt down on the cold floor, lifted her mouth up, and in a very chipper, beautiful, and youthful howl, she beckoned for the leader of the pack to come to her. [/scrolly]

Doing. "Speaking." Thinking. "Others speaking."
Black claws skittered on the wet rocks that led to the outer regions of Cerrac land. The grey-and-blue wolf that was making these noises had heard a similar one earlier, and it was her duty as a...regular member of Cerrac...to check it out. She wasn't the position her innermost greed so desperately wished for; Alpha; or even close. The best she could get at this point was member, and no part of her; even her kind outer shell; wanted this. Maybe she could be promoted with this simple action to something above member? It was doubtful, but as she was, she always had greedy dreams such as this.
The stench of non-Cerrac wolf seemed to creep into her nostrils with more intensity with every click of her claws against the smooth rocks. And with it, the scent of...amusement? Surprise? Something that didn't mark a trespasser. No, these were feelings that marked a wolf who'd just caught a fully grown Verau without help! ...Besides, of course, the inflated ego, pride, and general obnoxiousness. But still; this was an odd wolf, to say the least.
The smell of intruder filled her nose, then plateaued, as if her nose could handle no more of it. She locked her jaws and readied her poisoned fangs. Even with these emotions, the lithe she-wolf would have to be ready for an attack, and with her lethal poison, she'd definitely be ready. As her normally soft blue eyes narrowed, she saw a glimpse of the intruder before her.
Her fur was a soft blue that was pleasing to the eyes; unlike the sharp aqua of her own pelt. The only break from this color that she could see was a small yellow crescent on her forehead. But, as her eyes glanced around, she could see that her tail tip was also yellow, along with two of her paw toes. And of course, there was that smile. Absolutely pleased, as if with the surroundings themselves. And the eyes had hints of patience inside of them. This was no trespasser, and the tiny wolf unlocked her jaws, and quietly strode out in front of the wolf, out of the hiding place she had subconsciously placed herself in, softening her eyes and letting her tense muscles relax.
"Hello there." The she-wolf spoke with kindness and care. "May I ask why you came here?" She was being wise in not revealing her name; the visitor always says theirs first.
It was only polite, and if anything, Zephyr knew how to be polite.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9115/bellatm1.png] Her black paws moved her at a very slow and steady pace, her head twisting about and her eyes exploring the land as she observed her pack grounds. She was headed toward the waterfall to check it out, make sure that there were no trespassers on her lands and that nobody would be disturbing her today. Ears twitching, she listened to the sound of the falls as they traveled up the ice caves and to her; the sound carrying and echoing off of the walls. Her purple eyes kept looking down the pathway, her paws ceasing their movement. For some reason she couldn’t get her head to turn.
A howl hit her audits then, ringing down her ear canals and traveling to the ear drum, making them hum with the new sound. She knew there was a reason her instinct would not let her leave the spot, and this must have been it. Somebody was calling forth to her, and it was obvious they needed her attention right then and now. Pressing her feet into the snow once more, she began to head toward the cave, her claws making an audible click as they touched the stone for the first time.
When she reached the beginning of the entrance, she peered down, noticing a small slim figure. With the sun shining behind the waterfall, it silhouetted the figure, making her appear black. There was another wolf there, however, and this surprised her. It had been the new member to the pack, and she appeared to be talking. Raising an imaginary eyebrow in a questionable manner, she stepped forward a few more feet, her crown raising into the air.
So, a wolf has figured out how to find us. Bella moved further a little more, making it apparent that she was there. ”Why isn’t this a pleasant surprise; someone has found out how to get into the lands.” She said this with a half-assed impressed tone. Taking a few steps to the side, she stood next to her pack member, glancing over slightly and looking down on the slightly smaller wolf. ”And I see that you are already quick to find this wolf, regardless of being just a member.” Bella’s voice held a more impressed pitch, her face left emotionless and blank.
Then her purple gaze traveled back down to the loner, looking over the relaxed young female. She had a young air about her; a somewhat stinky excitement that made her so obvious. Either she had grown in a really good place or the world had yet to show her what it could really be like. So long as she proved to be of use to the Cerrac alphess, she could really care less what her attitude was like.

She knew that it was a wolf, because she had summoned one forth but a few minutes earlier, and no wolf would be fine with a trespasser on their lands. They were answering quickly so that they could either get her off of their lands or invite her in; either way she knew they wouldn’t tolerate her just hanging out. This was exciting, though, and regardless of if she got turned away or not, she was ecstatic to meet whomever greeted her at the border.
Soon the one who had made the clicking noises became clear, and they showed themselves very blatantly to Moon. Excitement rushed down her spine, sending chills through the rest of her nerves and all down her body and legs. This is it! she repeated in her head over and over as the adrenaline began to flow all throughout her. This was not the alphess, she could tell, but it was still, nonetheless, very thrilling to be able to meet a member.
The wolf before her was white with a much more aqua blue on her pelt; it was a lot more showy than Moon’s own fur. She was also the slightest bit smaller than Moon, and probably a couple pounds lighter. However, the blue female did not size up the other for she was not looking for a fight, but in fact she was looking for perhaps a new friend and place to live. This new creature was just a target for her ideal acquaintance. With her insides bubbling and her eagerness just about to explode, she readied herself to speak.
The other beat her to it.
Without introduction, the wolf greeted her. Her voice gave away that she was a female, and it was carried over to her own ears with a soft and kind voice. She was a little quieter than Moon was, with a little softer of a tone, but she seemed just as nice. This was a good thing, for that could mean they would get along a lot better; perhaps even connect in a special way. With a deep inhale, she prepared to speak again.
Then another wolf appeared onto the scene.
This one’s smell stunk up the place heavily, and it was obvious that these were her lands. Meeting a member was thrilling enough, but as this ebony lady stepped onto the scene, Moonbeam’s heart nearly stopped and she filled her lungs with air. She looked like a fan girl, with her silver eyes gleaming and a large ridiculous smile sprawled out on her maw. She wasted no time asserting herself, with a high-held head and her voice commanding. Moon only perked her ears in glee, listening as she spoke.
When she spoke to her worker, Moon only shrugged and waited for her to finish. She would finally get her chance to speak, and she wasn’t going to waste it. ”Hello!” She practically shouted, her words directed toward Bella. ”And hello to you, too!” Her voice was quieter this time, and directed at Zephyr instead. Tail wagging, she continued, ”I, Moonbeam, have come to join the wonderful Cerrac pack.” Her bottom was wiggling with her tail now, showing her obvious giddiness at just being there.
Her feet were taken out from under her as she got into a standing position, her eyes glowing as she stared at the two who had her fate in their paws. For some odd reason, she wasn’t worried about the situation. She didn’t really have too much to offer the pack, but she was confident that they wouldn’t turn her away. She was certainly willing to learn how to do anything that her predecessors wanted her to, so long as they either taught her or showed her how. [/scrolly]

Doing. "Speaking." Thinking. "Others speaking."
Her bright, if somewhat flashy, eyes widened just a bit, so that it wasn't noticeable, but was still there. Bella, her alpha and leader of almost everything she did, had entered, and her onyx-black fur and piercing violet eyes proved it. Not to mention the fairly acrid stench of superiority that she radiated, as if it came from her very fur. Despite all this, she still turned her head to the smooth rocks below as she passed, simply as a sign of respect. When Bella congratulated her, in her own slightly insulting way, she let a smug grin play its course across her muzzle. But, the tone had been impressed, which meant that finally, finally, she was just maybe getting somewhere in her pack. The greedy inner Zephyr was currently dancing with glee.
Her thoughts of happy dances were interrupted by a noticeably loud greeting from the visitor. Her aqua striped head swiftly turned towards the light blue wolf, and smiled a friendly smile at the other wolf's friendliness towards her. The words that she knew would eventually pierce the air did so afterward, and Zephyr seemed positively curious about what would result. ”I, Moonbeam, have come to join the wonderful Cerrac pack.” |
[/i] Moonbeam, eh? Not a bad name, but a rather blatant one. She could see why the blue wolf was named with the label she was given; what parent wouldn't notice the bright yellow moon on her forehead? But, Zephyr, or at least her outer shell, wasn't one to judge, and especially not on names. Zephyr smiled wider, letting her raccoon-ringed tail swish slowly from side to side. This wolf who's name was apparently Moonbeam could have something to offer the pack she made her living in; Cerrac. Surely, Bella would let her in, and by the pale wolf's happy attitude, she knew it well. With a short pause, her blue-striped head turned to her night-hued leader, as if to say 'Well, my Alpha? She seems good enough.' She didn't like speaking before her Alpha when the wolf in question was present; it was considered rude. So, after her silent glance to Bella, she looked back at Moonbeam, if only to be polite. The one thought from her greedy inner self was this: If anything, this is going to be fun...[/right][/color][/size][/scrolly][/td][/tr][/table] [/center]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9115/bellatm1.png] Purple eyes fixed on the visitor, she kept a keen watch over her movements; not so much to see if she was going to try something--like attack--but to watch her personality come out a little bit. It practically leaked from her; pouring desperately over the light-blue hued youth and reaching to her darkened muzzle. At the alphess's presence, she could see the excitement lift up and sour out. For some reason, she had evoked some sort of a teenage reaction from her; watching as she practically bursted with her built up energy.
Analyzing further, her purple gaze still scanning over Moonbeam, she began to feel some motion behind her. Her head perked just slightly higher, realizing that the wolf standing at her side had began to swish her tail to and fro. Her eyes left the intruder for a moment, peering down the aqua and white colored wolf and down to the raccoon-striped tail. She smirked, showing only the smallest bit of emotion as this was rare for her to even show any. She appeared to like the presence of the other wolf, regardless of her extremely quiet tongue. Raising a fictious eyebrow, she flipped her head back to the invader.
After a couple moments of silence, she let her mind come up with an opinion on the new female. Happy and excited, although unsure of her future. The immaturity of this wolf made her chuckle, acknowledging that she still had so much to recognize in the world before she could really be set on her personality. Bella had seen it enough. Her thoughts did not peruse down that road any further, knowing well that it would only lead to rage.
"Moonbeam, I will accept you as a member for now. Be warned, though, as even my members need some ability that proves useful to the pack." She grinned, pausing as she often did in her speeches. "For the moment what you have going for you is the fact that I need members; so in this time you will need to learn a skill. Unless you already have one…" Her voice trailed off, giving the blue wolf a little time to voice herself. This would be the time she allowed for her to say her abilities. Bella had no room for any wolves that would just slack off and hang out, they would need to be on their feet. Especially since the ebony wolfess was much larger than the other two small wolves.
Turning her body around, she started to walk in the opposite direction of the waterfall; to the innards of the pack lands. With a smirk, she looked over her should for a mere moments, as if to say to the two "Come on." After this small shot of a look, she jerked her head back around and carried herself off.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,474,true][atrb=height,500,true][atrb=cellPadding,25,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=background,http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/7449/moontable1.png][scrolly:w(176),h(365),sy] As the three stood in a very awkward triangle, she felt the twitching beginning in her legs. She had wanted to walk up the two of them and do something; perhaps lick at their chest or just be close in general. It was hard for her to contain herself like so, and though she was a very patient wolf, she started to get anxious just standing there. The unfamiliarity of these two had probably caused that emotion, as well as the fact that they were both quite stunning ladies. Whichever factor inside of her was making her restless, she inwardly growled at it. She couldn’t be so obnoxious to these two wolves just yet.
No, in all truths, she wanted to get really close to one of them. She had always felt the need for friends and companionship; somebody to hang out with when she was inwardly and outwardly bored. Although, lately the feelings have been stronger... she didn’t want to just spend time with some wolf, she wanted to get really close to one; share some feelings that she did not with the rest of the world. She had always known she was into females, but being with one would be a new adventure (especially if it was a serious thing). Jerking her head quickly, she stopped those thoughts. It was too soon to think about love with either of these girls.
Bella laughed, then, and the silver shaded eyes left their dreamland and focused in on the ebony fae. Her mind seemed to be hard at work, as neither of the new wolves spoke a single word; not even to one another. The three sat in silence as the leader rolled over the newcomer in her mind, attempting to decide if she was worth it or not. Moonbeam sure hoped that she was worth it, because if she couldn’t get in here she really didn’t have any other plans. She had heard the Jager pack was currently just a male’s occupied area, and it was clear as to why she would not want to move there.
Finally she spoke, baring only the best of news that the blue-hued female could hear. She was in. Adrenaline pumped through the veins of the female quickly, and if she weren’t already at a bubbling to bursting point she would have lost it right then and there. Containing her emotions, she only grinned and let her tail speak for her; moving at a speed that was nearly unmatchable. She couldn’t believe she had did it.
Not all of the news was good, though, and she began to feel just the slightest bit of dread. This emotion did not happen often, but occasionally it crept it’s way into her system. She knew that there was a skill every wolf possessed, but what would hers be? She would have to take some time to think on it, because nothing came to her mind in that instant. She knew she was willing to learn, though, and that at least would probably make her look good. So long as somebody taught her what to do, she would do it, no problem.
As she turned to walk away, Moon did not take a moment to hesitate and practically bounced after her. She didn’t want a tour, she wanted to explore the place on her own. Hopefully Bella would be too busy to show her around, and she would get to look at it all on her own. She liked that kind of adventure; where everything went how she wanted it to.
Pausing suddenly, she flipped her head to the white wolf. ”Excuse me, but what was your name?” Her voice was a ton quieter now than it had been earlier, though only because she had a lot of exploring plans on her mind. [/scrolly]

Doing. "Speaking." Thinking. "Others speaking."
Attention shifted to the pale blue wolfess as her leader spoke her approval. She didn't know why she was allowed in so easily, and perhaps even the whitish gray-furred wolf was an assist in her being allowed in so easily. Maybe it was the fact that there was no blood on hers or the intruder's paws, meaning that she wasn't one to attack first and talk later. This aspect had both its pros and cons, as it showed both strong instinct and also weak intelligence. She was sure that Bella, and the Cerrac in general, did not appreciate low intelligence, and this 'Moonbeam' looked smart enough. It would be hard fitting in, however. This she knew from assimilating into it many a moon ago. How else would she remain a mere regular member?
Snapping her out of her own thoughts was the feeling that she was being stared at, and this was proved when she saw the ebony face of her Alphess twisted into a smirk that beckoned her back to camp. Her gaze steadied from their glazed 'staring into empty space' quality into a strong, yet kind, one. She patiently forced her paws to stay back and let her new packmate go second before allowing them to follow the wolf, who was practically bouncing with glee. There was a moment of silence before Moonbeam spoke again.
”Excuse me, but what was your name?” The sound sprouted with a slightly more subdued tone from the pale blue she-wolf. There was that question, as there had always been one. The ones who didn't know her and had just recently met her were always wondering who she was. It wasn't like she flaunted herself like some moron of a wolf, but her brightly colored pelt was hard to miss, and her kind attitude confused some. She looked into the pale, almost clear eyes of the wolf in front of her, and smiled in a friendly manner.
"My name is Zephyr," She spoke, with what seemed like infinite calm and kind friendliness. "But you can call me Zeph, if you want."
There. Now she had spoken her name, and her greedy persona assured that this newbie better not forget it, or face dire consequences.
