adiemus.ero Grown men can learn from very little children For the hearts of the little children are pure… Burst of cold air ruffled the great brutes crystalline snow white fur, chilling him to the bone as he padded slowly onward, not expecting to be treated nicely by the Cerrac pack-leader or its members until his inception into their ranks.
The day was dull, grey, and hinting of an icy rain, and the chill from the waterfall ahead of him did not help. Adiemus padded across the currently damp rocks, holding himself with pride, keeping his antlers held high, pointing to the grey shrouded sky, hoping for an inkling of snow. He had always loved the small white snowflakes that fluttered down from those ominous looking clouds, it made him feel safer due to the fact that his fur was the exact same color, the only thing that would give him away while hiding were his antlers.
He began to ascend to the cave behind the icy waterfall, he wounld not be surprised at all if the great flow of water would freeze over at some point this winter, he just had a gut feeling that this winter would be harder than last, colder, causing the lands to be more barren that before, but he always estimated of how severe the winter would be, and half the time he was wrong and refused to acknowledge that he actually was wrong for once in his life.
The great white brute fixed his crystalline gaze upon the dark cave behind the waterfall, which had now come into view by where he was. The rocks were slowly changing from the same dull grey as the sky, to a dark black color, and now to a coppery green, moss was beginning to form on the rocks, and now he had to place his steps carefully. One fall off of these rocks under the crashing waterfall would be deadly for a wolf of the likes of himself. He was not able to control the water or ice around him like some could, and he did not plan on pushing his luck either.
The crashing of the emense amout of water falling from a good fifty feet above him into the river below was almost deafening by this point, the path becoming even more mossy, even more treacherous, but the brute decided to ignore it, placing his paws carefully, keeping his crystalline gaze fixed upon the dark cave ahead, he was so close, yet so far, his paws still trying to grip onto the slick, damp moss. All he could think was ”I can’t wait for winter, I can’t wait for winter…

When his paws finally rested on the wet rock of the cave floor, he finally relaxed, there was no risk of him falling to his death, he was safe and sound on the slick rock of the ice-topped cave. The faint blue glow of the grey day shimmering through the ice added an eerie blue glow to the dark, damp cave. Adiemus couldn’t help but stick out like a sore thumb with his white coat, he felt venerable, but did his best not to show so on his face.

She had yet to explore the whole thing, but she often found herself tracing back to the ice caves. They captivated her mind, and the eye capturing awe that the ceiling of ice had made held her attention for hours. On this particular day, in fact, she had traveled to the caves just to stare at the blueness that they created, and to watch the soft off-white color of the water flowing above it run. It could entertain her for hours, and seeing that nobody seemed awake in the lands today, she was going to occupy herself.
She had hardly set foot onto the cold cavern floor when the scent of an outside traveled up to her nose. She was no great smeller, but from where she was standing she could tell that he was at least past the waterfall. Her mind was set to racing as she realized that somebody was either here to join, or to terrorize the pack. Excitement chilled her body to her bones; and she almost bursted with excitement. Sure, it could turn out that the opposer was a terrible and mean wolf who only wished to kill her, but somehow she felt that was not the likely cause of the intrusion. Wiggling her body all over to get the adrenaline out now, she padded down the hall of ice to the newcomer.
This wolf stuck out like a tree in the desert. Two opal antlers sat at the top of his head, glistening in the light that the roof provided. The ivory body that held him upright was also ivory in color, and from what she could tell, not a mark nor a shade covered over him. From the distance between the two she could not yet tell what color his eyes had been blessed with, but she was still excited to know the hue nonetheless. Her feet dropped to a slow walk, and she approached the wolf head held high to show her dominance (she was allowed to do that here, right?).
”Can I help you?” Her voice was as stern as she could manage, but her youthful glee shown through the mask in a small squeak. Her feet halted, and she took the time to fully look over the new body’s figured. The stinky stench of a male clung to him, and openly she showed a little bit of a tsk. The eyeballs were now clearly visible, too, and that she could tell were a bright aquan blue; like their very own Zephyr. She thought back to the pretty female, and grinned slightly. They weren’t friends, but she felt like one day they could be.
Snapping back to the point, she directed her eyes onto those of the new guy. Her ears stood erect on the top of her skull now, and she tried to hold her tail still behind her. She wondered what questions this boy would be asked, and whether or not Bella would deem him even worthy of entering the pack. Speaking of acceptance; she had still not figured out exactly what her ‘skill’ had been. Bella had let her in nearly a week ago, and she procrastinated what it was up until this point. Her mind raced with a bit of frustration with what she would have to do about that, but at this moment she would have to push it to the back of her head and focus on the intruder. He was her main priority. [/scrolly]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9115/bellatm1.png] Once again, the black wolfess had found herself roaming her pack lands. That felt good to say. My packlands. She thought possessively. A breeze of wind blew over her pelt and messed up her pure black pelt, making her pause in her tracks. Closing her eyelids, she inhaled deeply- slightly in frustration and slightly to just relax. Her fur was not well kept, but it certainly was never messy. This was slightly an unacceptable look. Good thing there had been none around to witness it.
Dipping her head to breathe in heavier, she began to wonder deeply about the upcoming season. It will be winter soon. She pondered, knowing that it would be her pack’s first time going through it in these lands. I’ve always loved that season. She smirked. It had been true, for the main reason she had chosen such a frozen and icy land was because of the consistency it kept with sticking to a winter like schedule. It only brought a sliver of worry as she wondered if it would be extremely harsh in such a landscape.
Raising her head she was again locomotive.
She was moving toward the waterfall. The sound of it had always brought relaxation to her audits, and helped her keep her calm. Her ears twitched slightly as she heard it smacking against the rocks and river at the bottom, but something about it was different... After a little of hard listening to the ear-twitching sound, a faint voice echoed up to her. Taking a step forward in the snow she moved to the entrance, pausing again. Moonbeam? She did head down this way a lot, but still she felt intrigued at why she was talking.
Entering the cave, she moved swiftly down the corridor; stalking down the pathway silent as can be. Naturally her power ebbed out from her, consuming the hall and herself with a pitch blackness. She would make her visibility unknown for now, and she knew it would work as she had some of the most silent steps a wolf could take. One of her strongest skills had been stalking; so this was no hard feat.
As she got close she recognized the closest wolf; Moonbeam, just as I had thought. She paused her steps, her head down low, she peered down past her. It appears that my members always find intruders before I do... Canceling her power out, she stepped from the shadows and made her presence clear; commanding all of the respect that both wolves had to offer.
The same as she had done last time, she walked across the stage and sat next to her member and observed the trespasser. Her eyes glanced at Moon, her mind almost telling her to lower her head. Well it seems you’ve found someone. Jerking back to the male, her melancholy face stared emotionlessly. Now for you. State your name and your business. She gave him no choice, her words neither mean or completely inviting. For some reason it seemed today Bella was found in not that great of a mood.

adiemus.ero Grown men can learn from very little children For the hearts of the little children are pure… The opal horned brute was relaxed, unafraid, and calmly positioned a good ways away from the mouth of the cave, so that he would be able to hear any who approached him. He wasn’t the best overall when it came to his sense of smell or sight, but he was smart and knew how the use them to his advantage, but he was stuck with nowhere to go when the scent of a female caught his attention. He could smell the fae before he heard her. Loud, puppy-like footsteps against the cave floor, either she was a pup, or she had not noticed his presence yet.
When she finally did, the cave had fallen silent, all but the water crashing passed the mouth of the cave was quiet, it was almost an eerie noise now that he knew he was not alone in the cave. As the fae slowly came in his view, he tried to make himself look a little more impressive than he actually was, no matter what Adiemus had a wow factor, but playing it up was just his personality showing through. He held his head high, his antler crown curving and intertwining above his ears, it made him proud to be who he was, but he could not forget the reason for which he had encroached on Bella’s territory, to join Cerrac.
As the female approached she was looking up at the ice which created the cave’s ceiling, the dull blue glow it created caused her fur to almost glow this strange silvery blue color, or maybe it was just like that, and the color from the dull grey day seeping through the ice created a glow. She looked down from the blue almost opalescent ceiling of the cave, to examine him. He could not tell what she thought though, her face was expressionless, but her energy filled the room, even for a wolf who could not read those sorts of things, he could sure tell that she was excited that there was someone new on the packlands.
The fae slowed to a very lumbering and slow pace, trying to examine him further, her eyes fixed upon him. He could see the hidden excitement behind her silver eyes, it amused him that she was not the hostile pack member that he expected to come into contact with, but she seemed kind and good-natured to be excited to see him. “Can I help you?”
He had to think of a good answer, he could tell that she was not the alpha of this pack, and he knew that this was not the Bella that he had heard of. For, the pack leader of Cerrac is supposedly something that hell its self would spit back out. The black she wolf that he had heard of, the she wolf with the piercing purple eyes is the one that he should fear. This time, before he could get an answer out, a stronger female scent began to overpower that of the blue fae in front of him. When Bella emerged from behind the other fae, she seemed in a bad mood by the way she carried herself, the black expressionless look she gave him before she spoke. She glanced down at the blue fae, speaking almost as if they were good friends “Well, it seems you’ve found someone” she jerked her head back to make eye contanct with him and he took the hint, lowering his crowned head, he was not a threat to this female, he never wanted to be on this female’s bad side.
“Now for you. State your name and your business.” Her expression was blank, emotionless as she spoke, no games today, seriousness. ”My name is Adiemus Ero, I have come to join the ranks of Cerrac.” Straight and simple, that’s what the situation called for.

Her decision on why he was here kept changing, for his outer appearance was nothing but confusing. The dangerous rack he sported atop his head read that he was here to cause trouble, but the position of his relaxed body argued that notion and claimed that he was here to join. If he was truly going to attack, Moon had her alphess on speed-dial and would summon the girl to the entrance as soon as possible. Until her leader showed up she was certain she could at least out maneuver him without taking too much damage. Those just off-ivory antlers did scare her, though.
Darkness consumed the hallway, and for a moment the blue female felt her heart drop to the ground and drag. She was not scared of the dark, but seeing as how it had been daytime, this kind of thing should not be happening to the cave. She was a little too overwhelmed by the new fear that the shadow brought to even realize that it had been her leader creating all of the gloom. Moon was never blessed with powers, and so when a wolf used theirs she hardly noticed it wasn’t just nature doing something. Still, the eerie blackness forced the blue girl to take just a few steps back, just in case it had been a plan of the other to use such an ability. She would not die today.
But the shade was gone as quickly as it appeared, and the real caster of the power came from her hiding spot behind her, traveling up to the side of the wolf. Moon turned her colored gaze up to the ebony female, smiling happily and wagging her tail slowly. Then she noticed the deep stare that put her in her place, her tail stopping in motion and her head dropping considerably. She faced the newcomer again, but no embarrassment showed through. This was how a member should act around her alpha, and so she was not ashamed to have to be demeaned around her. Besides, this was a male, she couldn’t care less what he had thought about her. She rolled the words Bella spoke to her off.
Bella’s strong and leading tone brought the whole room to attention. It felt like all three wolves had their spines set straight and their faces staring intently. None would break character, even the young and excited blue girl who laughed and grinned at everything tried to hide her giddy demeanor. It was not the moment nor the time to be bursting out with uncontrollable joy; this man in front of the two girls could be potentially a dangerous Jager wolf sent to assassinate them. And for some odd reason the owner of the lands seemed in a particularly bad mood.
As he answered it appeared that his motives were not that, but in fact he was here to join the ranks. Moon almost sighed out lout, but she held it within herself. She was enjoying the fact that this pack was all females thus far, as she liked that gender far more than the male’s. She held no grudge or ill-will of the brute in front of her, though she did not for one second want him in. She knew eventually they would need males, and he was as good as any, but there was something about him that she did not like. Perhaps the prideful air he carried? No, she was just being biased because he was wrecking her lady’s bar; and with a male about any female would preferably go to him than to her. She knew well that girls were mostly interested in boys, and she was the odd one out, but that would just make it a challenge for her.
Before her alphess had the chance to speak, Moon could not contain herself and blurted out to the male, ”Why here?” Her tone still held the very hidden chipper temperament that she had, regardless of the fact that she wished he was a girl. He was a very handsome man, no doubt, but if he were a female he would be a lot more likable. [/scrolly]

Watching others heads lower always brought immense joy to her. It was an unknown reason why this happened, but she suspected that it had been this way because all of her life she had been respected, and she wanted it to stay that way. She demanded respect, and full attention, regardless of the wolves that were around her. The type of honor that she was bestowed filled her ego, and the pride within her filled to the brim with power. She had the lands of Archaic under her paw.
Moon, the wolf that was next to her, she seemed to always be happy. This kind of attitude slightly annoyed her; like an older sister of the youthful wolf next to her. Although, regardless of this attribute, she did find a liking to her… Like her own little irritant, the way she found her friends to be.
She turned her mind back to the male as he spoke. Adiemus. She repeated in her head, getting his name down. Well that's a nice name. A smirk slid up the side of her face, cracking the lips in a way that read nothing. Her body language remained the same, still reading to everyone about her that she was angry and not to be toyed with. Her imaginary eye brow lifted as it often did as his response was taken into her consideration station in her mind. The ranks of Cerrac? Ha, what a clever way to say you wish to join! It seemed whenever someone wanted to join, she had a mini conversation within her head; focusing on talking to herself.
Her thoughts were broken as the one next to her spoke. It pulled her out of her day drifting and forced her head to peer down at the fae. Her purple gaze did not leave her this time, her eyes staring emotionlessly. Although she was in a bad mood, this shout out of place did not wreck it any more. In fact, it had no effect on her mood at all. She just watched intently as the hold button for the fae was broken and she bursted in without any approval of Bella's. Zephyr had done well with keeping quiet about new members, but it appeared this blue hued girl had her own way about things. Removing her eyes from Moon, she only looked back to the unknown, expecting an answer from him.

adiemus.ero Grown men can learn from very little children For the hearts of the little children are pure… The silvery blue fae’s eyes remained locked on him, unmoving, and unrevealing of her emotion towards him, her body language did give away hints that she was indeed excited that there was a newcomer on her packlands, even with her head lowered with respect towards Bella, she still showed little glimmers of excitement in her silver eyes.
He could feel the tension of the environment with bella’s presence now, it could almost be cut with a knife it was so thick, but the antlered brute stood, steadfast, and un afraid of the smaller black female, but he had every right to be wary of her, she was indeed the dangerous leader of the two packs. Adiemus would have to choose his words carefully in front of this fae until he was accepted.
Adiemus lowered his head slightly, just as the silvery blue fae next to Bella did, he had already decided that he would want absolutely no trouble between the alphess and himself, that was definitely not a good idea based on this fae’s reputation. The submissiveness of the blue she-wolf and himself seemed to cause Bella a great amount of joy, she was obviously a slight control freak, this helped her relax a bit, from what Adiemus could see.
He could see that she was distracted, she was in another place mentally, but her harsh violet gaze still seemed to look right through his ivory coat, to the cave walls behind him. It was difficult to hear once the blue fae spoke, the rush of the waterfall still was slightly louder than any other noise in the cave, that anything with his senses was not his talent, he did not have supersight, super smell, super hearing, or anything of the likes, he was a healer, and a smart one at that.
“But why here?” her voice sounded young, curious as to how he made his decision to become one of the Cerrac pack. He looked to Bella who had seemed to be pulled from her dreamland by the packmate’s question, she was now looking to him expectantly, she wanted him to answer the question. With no hesitation he let out an answer, hopefully it was what Bella wanted her hear.
”As an Alpha, Bella seems to be more of a respectable leader than Bret, the land, in my opinion is perfect. This is just the pack I would consider to fit into more. If that answers your question, miss”

Her eyes spoke a lot of question and wonder, looking at the world and thinking about why the world seemed to be in a dream land today; lost in some abyss and blurry void that only their own single minds could create. Her silver eyes gleamed for a few moments, but then dropped away from the ebony leader and back to the pearl one. She felt like the odd one out in this trio, as she was not only small but also very chipper, while neither of these wolves seemed to care too much about anything but themselves. She never understood pride.
Apparently her question had been deemed worthy by Bella, as the black female remained silent and held a look that told him to answer. He didn’t take too long as he decided to speak his own words, his voice melancholy and his throat strong. Interested, she listened, attempting to pick up on something that perhaps she could use when it came to describing her own skills to her alpha. To no luck, however, as he only answered the question in a direct way than any other. Although she felt some sort of dislike toward the male already, she held it in and gave a nod of her own approval. It was a decent enough answer, she supposed.
Looking back up to her leader, she gave a nod of her head, bowing in respect. She had no rights to being there, and she knew that all too well. She was out of place, and that she could feel strongly. Knowing that she had done her part in keeping him off of the inner lands, she felt it was time to go. “He’s fine by me, I guess.” She whispered to Bella, her voice low enough so that they might even not reach the black audits. “I’ll leave you to your work, ma’am.” Dipping her head even lower in a better bow, she turned her tail around a began to march off.
Besides, she had more exploring to do... [/scrolly]

A devious grin came up her maw as the male spoke. His words had reminded her of a previous encounter with the male brutish alpha, Bret. The ivory male spoke very ill of him. Because she didn't particularly like the wolf that much, so when she heard him speak like this of Bret, it made her body fill with a strong warmth of power. That was going to be the amount of points that he just earned that pushed her opinion over and allowed the stranger to join.
Bella’s purple gaze drifted over to Moonbeam as the wolf bowed, her attention being pulled like a harsh string in her direction. Then a soft voice exited from the members mouth; these words being the quietest voice that this fea had ever spoken to her in. The words were like an approval of the male being. Gruffly, she thought, Like you really had a word in saying if he could join or not. She did not speak it, but inwardly the words mocked the smaller one a bit. The head of the other female dropped once again, and she turned to leave.
Removing her eyes from the bitch, she peered again at the white male. ”Well, Adiemus, I will accept you into my pack. Although it will be a trial, and just like my other members you need to have a skill. Whether you stay a member or not, I like to know that you have something useful to me when I need it.” Bella paused to take a deep breath. ”If you have any that you would like to name now, do so. If not, then in time we will find something.” When she spoke, her tone was assertive and angry. She couldn’t help her tone, didn’t know how not to sound assertive; but when she was angry, everyone knew, for she would normally let it show.

Fear has a way of healing.... He could see the smaller silvery-blue female watching him, her ears placed in his direction, he could tell that she was actually listening to her instead of just relying on her alpha to speak and listen for her. He didn't quite yet know what to think of the fae, but he could tell below her childish exterior, was an intelligent and tough competitor to make his way up in the ranks of this pack.
The subtle movements of the silvery blue fae drew him from his thoughts, though she had barley moved, she was sending all of them a message. Based on her body language, it seemed that she felt that she did not belong in this conversation, and with all due respect, Adiemus agreed. She looked to Bella and nodded to her and as if she was bowing to announce her exit, she dipped her head to the black female "He's fine by me, I guess." she whispered to Bella, Adimus heard her, his ears swiveling at the female's voice. Though he did not show so, he was very taken aback by the female's statment, but he held his tounge.
"I'll leave you to your work, ma'am" she silvery-blue fae dipped her head once more to Bella, turned and slowly padded off, he could tell that her mind was obviously elsewhere. Once the silvery blue fae had dissapeared into to packlands, he noticed Bella turn her head back to gaze at him with her eerie purple eyes. He pulled his attention back to the pack leader, he knew that he had to keep all eyes on her at all times, just in case she would attempt to try something that no one had warned him about when he spoke to a group of other loners just a few weeks ago.
"Well, Adiemus, I will accept you into my pack. Although it will be trial, and just like my other members you need to have a skill. Whether you stay a member or not, I like to know that you have something useful to me when i need it." he paused, the expression across her black face read to him that she was going to speak once more, so the brute held his tounge, allowing this black alphess to speak again. "If you have any that you would like to name now, do so. If not, then in time we will find something."
Bella's tone had hardened into an agressive, agitated tone, but the white brute brushed it off. If he was going to be in this pack, he would have to get used to it. "I am a healer, one which has the gift of common sense in an intelligent sort of manner." He knew that healers were valuable, no matter what, through war or sickness, he would be needed within this pack. He knew he would be.
But it is a question of what it is you fear.

A healer? She mused within her mind, tossing the phrase over in her dark skull with many a plan running around it. You’re much more useful than I thought. Hopefully you’re a good one. She thought to herself after the male spoke. A healer would be very useful to her currently small pack, especially since currently none had took home there. Though her ranks held no special spot for a healer, perhaps he could make his way into the beta male position instead.
Bella had known many healers, and had to spend countless times with some as she had to get her battle wounds fixed up. They always held quite an importance to the pack, especially since this male chose to only fix her side than her rival pack. Good news, indeed. Although, she did hope that this early into her pack’s creation, they wouldn’t need his skill for anything unless it was to help for an illness.
As quick as it had come, her grin dropped. Her black paws lifted her, she turned sideways, looked into the distance of her pack lands, and then back to the pearly male. As she usually had done, she jerked her head, beckoning to the new member to go toward his new home. Her body made a complete turn, and started toward the innards of her lands. Bella had almost completely disregarded that he was there and just went about her normal stroll into the area.
