[/i] The words were very much irritating the wolfess. She'd been walking for hours, listening as her dead mother went on and on about a wolf she had loved before her mate to her dead step-sister. Suzarria couldn't help but supress a sigh of annoyance, really not wanting to listen. She wished she could get some peace and quiet for once without listening to her chattering family.

Her sister's eyes sparkled with a dreamer tone as she leaned closer to the older female. "Really? Wow... That's so romantic! I wish I'd done something like that!" She giggled at the thought.

Suzu finally came to a halt, whipping around and glaring her sightless eyes in their direction. She was so over this conversation. "Come on Kaya, you can't tell me that you're into all that lovey-dovey bullshit!" She rolled her eyes, wings twitching. Her mother scowled towards her.

Kaya grunted. "Why yes, I actually am Ria! Just because you don't like it doesn't mean I don't. Don't cha remember, I was dead before I had the chance to experience love."[/i] She snapped back.

Suzarria shut her mouth abruptly, instantly regretting the comment. Her ears flicked uncomfortably. She never really liked bringing up her death, mostly because she blamed herself for it. She turned back around and lowered her head. "... Sorry." She muttered softly. She shook her head and began walking forward again. Her mother sighed and nudged Kaya forward, leaving silence in the air.

The female walked for a good while before she noticed her mouth growing dry. She paused for a moment and scented the air, trying to find water. "There's some up ahead; I can see it." Her mother barked. Suzu nodded and continued walking, listening to her mother as she guided her. Kaya lagged behind the two, eyes wandering around the area.

When she heard her mother say she was at the waters edge, she tentively lifted a paw and set it into the cool water. She smiled faintly, muttering thanks before lowering her head and lapping at the water.

After she had her fill, she took a few steps back and lied down in some shade. "I'm going to rest for a little bit." She yawned and set her head on her paws. She was beginning to doze off when she was awoken suddenly by a wave of cold water on her face. She leaped up, yelping in surprise. Once she realized it was only water she could hear Kaya in the background laughing hard. She felt her temper raising.

"Kaya! That wasn't very nice!"[/i] Her mother scolded, but Suzu wasn't going to let her mother handle it. "What the hell was that for!" She barked angerly, her fur rising. Kaya continued to laugh. "Oh lighten up, sis! It was just a joke!"[/i] Suzarria's blind eyes blazed with a fire. She shook her pelt and her wings began to open and close rapidly anxiously. "You're such a brat! I am trying to get some rest, and you go along and splash me with water! Some sister you are! I mean, geez! You'd think you'd show some kind of sisterly support, but noo!" She continued on her pointless rant, yelling at her sisters spirit. Her temper always seemed to get the better of her. To any bystanders near-by, she must have been quite the site. Yelling at the water while her fur dripped with the cool liquid.
