Head covered in a lump of grass, body following in nearby clumps, the female laid; somewhat possessed by the surrounding area. Her eyes gazed musingly around the field, wondering and feeding on the life that sustained the planet. Her mind was full of awe and enchantment, knowing that this was her home and these were new lifeforms. She had recenty left her old pack in search of a new one, but the unknown terrain caught her mind and left her to map out the unfamiliar. She had a fixation on the land; everywhere she went she wants to explore more and fill in the map within her head. She had a great sense of navigation which inspired her to learn the land. She had not been her long at all, but she had already associated herself with a vast amount of the area. This was going to be home here; she could feel it.
Sea foam green eyes traversed then up to the heavens; the beautiful night sky making them shine ever so brightly. It was a clear night, and every star in the abyss was visible to her. The lighter part of her fur nearly shined; looking somewhat silver-grey instead of white in any viewers eye. Too bad she was practically invisible to any in the area, as her lump sum of her body was hidden by tall and lushious grass. She had not been hiding, but simply enjoying and taking in the night. Once she laid an eye on this scenery, she could not be bothered to walk even further; even for her main purpose of traveling out here. The pack she wished would claim her, and whom she would plead loyalty to: Jäger. No, not even the promise of that would get her to move.
It had not been because she was tired; because in fact she was quite lively. As she had moved down one of the stomped on trails toward the side of the mountain, she found a unique beauty here that made her wish to cease her step. She found more attraction to this area than any other wolf she had met; even in her long five years of life. Not that she didn't like company, it was just no one stuck around the gal long enough to really understand her. This she was ok with, for she didn't need to get attached. Not to anyone. Acquaintances were fine, but she would almost always choose the land over another creature. It just captivated her much more than some simple being would; and sometimes she swore she could feel the planet speaking to her. She felt it was somehow connected to her, like she were it's child. It was an odd thought, but she loved serene moments like this where she could just watch an feel the world around her. [/blockquote]

Movement was placed in the average sized legs as they traveled down the pathway. He didn’t know where he was going, but he felt the need to not stop. The stars on this beautiful night gleamed so brightly, and as he moved across the plains watched them whole heartedly. Somehow he was lost in the sky, and it was like it spoke to him as he stepped. It was so attracted by the sight, held by it’s such captivating beauty. This was a night he was going to enjoy.
In a swift action, though, his foot suddenly smacked against a hard stone. This brought his gazing head down to peer at his now injured foot. His walking ceased and he pulled the paw up to his muzzle, peering at it through the darkness. Upon inspection, he noticed that it only slightly stung and it wasn’t really injured. With a deep exhale of breath, he placed it back down, knowing that he was going to be fine. Lifting his head up, he began to examine the ground he had unknowingly brought himself to.
He was in a field somewhere, with really tall green grass. It had not yet died from the cold that fall brought, but there were patches that seemed less lively. This must have been a great place for orinn to hang out at, because it was the perfect place for darting and skittering. He wasn’t hungry, but just thinking of the meat, he suddenly felt the need to hunt. Eyes shimmering in the darkness, adjusting, he began to dart his face around for some prey.
It was almost instantly that he spotted an awkward lump of grass that was awkwardly missing. This was where his food would be. He got down low and began to move through the grass, stepping silently and making sure to move as little as possible and slowly. When he was near the area where the orrin was laying, he positioned his head so he could look through the grass. He needed a little clearer shot of it to be able to get what he wanted. But then he noticed something... that wasn’t prey, that was a wolf!
Getting to his feet, he moved inches forward. ”Hello?” he though, using his power to communicate with the female.

Her mind was still connecting with the scene, still hung up on the planet and the world that she lives in. It was all so awe-inspiring and mind capturing; how any wolf could ever just walk around and live without pausing to peer at what was around them astonished her. This was something that could pull anybodies attention, and put their world to a halt if they jut paused for a few minutes and enjoyed their planet. She was one who was often lost in her thoughts about the world, it would be no surprise if she were the only one to think this way. She wasn't quite the same as all of the other wolves that she had run into, that she knew. Was she fine with that epiphany? Of course she was, because they would never be able to comprehend the kind of mindset she always had. This was a serene place that she felt she could understand, and whether or not another wolf could, she could care less. It was too bad her power had been put to no use because she didn't have much use of it. Often times she forgot it existed.
Abruptly the silence was broken into, and her mind paused for a moment as she heard an unknown voice in her thoughts. This had never happened to her before: hearing another unknown wolf's words in her head. Had she talked to someone, she could recall their voice within her head as she went through memories and all--but to hear one she had never hears in person? She was confused for a moment, trying to grasp her mind around the idea that someone had just gotten into her head. But that would mean... she thought to herself, finally figuring out the situation. Someone has the same power as I do.... Although she was no young wolf, she had never met another who could do the same thing as her. She was astonished: astonished enough that it broke her gazing and she moved up to her long black legs.
Her sea foam eyes moved around the area for a moment, attempting to spot the one who had spoken to her from her mind. When she spotted him, her head motion stopped and she only looked in his direction for a long silent moment. He was shorter than her and much more naturally colored. He had brown eyes while she had a light pastel sea foam green. His fur was sandy and grey, but hers was black and white. He held no mutation, but her long black curled horns did. They were different from one another; really different; buy somehow they were the same. Having the same ability and all? That was rare. Not on her five long years of life had she run into another wold with this same ability. Though she was one to mostly avoid another being, she was curious about him and something told her to stay where she was. She would do so.
"Did you say that?" she thought, pushing her own words into the head of his. If he listened well enough he would catch her quiet feminine tone in his mind and it would practically be as if they were talking. This was different, though, it was much more connected. She felt much closer to someone when she was communicating to them like this. It was much more close, she felt, a lot more connection was used to speak like this, and so it was a lot more personal than just using your mouth. [/blockquote]

As the male stood, his tail dangling from behind him, he felt it slowly moving back and forth. This motion had always been a strong habit of his. Haibi watched as the female stood up and peered around-he kept quiet in these moments and waited until she had spotted him. When the figure was staring at him, he couldn’t help but straighten his stance up--though he did this in a nonthreatening way, so he didn’t appear as if he was trying to dominate the female.
His eyes widened suddenly as a voice within his head went off, surprise filling his nerves. Could it be...? He thought to himself, squinting to get a clearer look at the girl. Does another have the same power? He paused for a moment and dropped his head, staring down for a brief second, the voice replaying in his head as he attempted to analyze it. His head finally lifted again, and he tilted it as a smile slid up the black lines of his maw.
So you’re a female, eh? He thought to himself, the voice making that very clear to him. After this small thought he decided to let the fae hear him once more.
”Yeah, it was me.” the pitch he used was very friendly, but it was obvious that he had to slightly force use it. He didn’t wait long for any sort of an answer, as he then pushed another thought out to her. ”I must say, it’s nice to meet you. My name is Brav, Brav Haibi.” He introduced, ducking his head slightly as he did so. His voice was charming as it normally had been whenever he spoke to a lady, showing his kinder side to the female. Glimmering stars from up above shined down onto the patch of two wolves, the moon creating an eminent glow. It made the scene look brilliant; the darkness and the small bit of dim light that shown down; it would be the perfect place for two romantic lovers. Too bad it was shared by two complete standard, who were only surprised at the power of the other and nothing more. A duo pair of civil creatures that stared at on another cautiously and silently, neither sharing a single word but only thoughts. She enjoyed this kind of moment, and could not hav asked for anything more; so long as he did nothing to ruin it and one of the moons had stayed out. Of the four, two were visible tonight: a large one that was not the biggest and one of the smaller ones that was never far from the bigger one. She grinned in the thought that the two planets were connected, but she knew it was only the gravity from Archaic.
When she reached into his mind, she too could tell that he was caught off guard by it. This was no ordinary thing, and so of course the wolves would be a little struck by such talent. He paused though, in the silence, and she could tell that he was silently analyzing her. She was fine with this, and she even took the time to look over him and consider their situation. The moment didn't last long though, as he dropped his head and peered down at the grass. She would not do the same thing. Her eyes would stay locked onto the male and not leave for a moment. She was a nervous wreck in that kind of way, because she didn't trust another wolf to not attack her. That was a very vulnerable position, and she would not be caught in it. Though he appeared to be a rather kind man, she would not put it past him to pull a surprise on her. And so, she did not tilt her head downward.
Eventually his head moved back into place, and his voice broke into her thoughts again. He was getting more clear now, and a lot less quiet now that she allowed him to speak to her in this way. It was odd, though, in a sense that she had never been on the receiving end of this telepathy. He admitted that it had been him who spoke to her, and she let only one graceful yet small smile glide up the side of her face. He introduced himself in a very kind manner, and she gave a little nod of her head in understanding. Her introduction would not be as long as his, for she was not as talkative and quite the amount of more nervous. hopefully he would not find this a rude notion, but recognize that she was slightly uncomfortable and not used to such interactions. This was just slightly new to her.
"Tranthia Myristyl." she introduced, knowing that he would figure out it had been her name. She had an odd name, one that was not easy to roll off of the tongue, but she had always found it beautiful. None of the wolves she had met had a name like it, or even anything close. It had been like it came from a completely different language entirely; although it had not. Her name had no meaning to it. Her father was very odd about names, although they were unique and she loved them. She even had her own pup name thought, but she knew that it would be rare for her to even find a male she wanted to settle down with; plus one that held the right gene to mate with her. No, regardless of who she ended up with, she still had always wanted a little girl named Xivil. The idea of a different name was from her father, and the awkward sound to it... It held a young beauty to it: one that would keep any wolf happy when they heard it. [/blockquote]

His eyes kept on the female, watching her as she smiled. Although it seemed that most wolves had the tendency to smile around him, he felt pleased to see her doing it. This oddly colored wolf had him grinning, as well as oddly happy. This new form of glee showed through his face, his maw curving up in pleasantries. She was new, and he liked the way she had been acting; whether she was uncomfortable around him or not.
Once more she entered his mind, her words speaking much louder this time. He hadn’t grown accustomed to her just yet, being able to push herself in there like that, but he was growing slightly used to it. She only spoke her name to him this time; a very long and somewhat oddly attractive name. His smile shrunk slightly, though not in a bad way; just his lips relaxing a little more. Brav knew what she meant by just the two words. Other than being nervous and uncomfortable, she was probably more quiet then most the faes he had met in his life were.
”You have a very lovely name, Tranthia.” His voice was charming once again, his speaking placed in only her mind. To any other wolf, the two might look somewhat odd, as they just stood and didn’t say a thing. Any who could be watching would probably be somewhat intrigued, seeing as how the two only made small gestures here and there to one another. It would have been an awkward scene, but an interesting one nonetheless.
Noting her stance, he spoke once more. ”There really is no reason to be nervous, I swear. If it would make you feel better, I will just vocalize.” He cautiously and hesitantly took a few more steps forward, his stance remaining the same and showing no dominance in her direction. They were equals, he wanted her to see that.

The wind began to lightly blow; a gentle breeze pushing her long neck fur over and slightly up as it came by. It felt cool, relaxing, and though it was not done by the wolf in front of her, she smiled and her nerves settles down by a great amount. He had smiled, too, at sometime that she felt she had caused. She wasn't sure exactly what that was, or even how she had managed to do it, but she was proud of herself. Somehow she had felt some sort of a link between the two: a connection that she had not felt for the longest time. He was nice and took his time with her, and se respected that about him. It must be hard trying to make friends with someone as shy and awkward as she had been; yet here he still stood, attempting to make her mean something to him and start a conversation. He had determination, and slowly she felt a small ember of confidence in the pit of her stomach spark. Perhaps he wasn't so bad, after all.
Once more he spoke to her, complimenting her unique name. He had said it the way she did, too, which had been a major uplifting feeling. Often she met wolves who could not speak her name, and would even roll their r's toouch and make her sound awkward and ugly. This she hated, but her kindness always forced it to the back of her head. She would not correct someone she did not know, although she really wished that she could. With a tiny bit of color flowing into the flesh on her cheeks, she replied to him happily, "Thank you... I liked the name, too. Yours is unique, too." voiced thoughts were still quiet as they flew over to his brain, and she only took a small moment to pause, "May I call you Haibi?" she knew it had not been his first name, but she liked the sound of it. Besides, if he wished her not to, he could just say no.
Then he offered something that she did not expect in the least, and though his little steps forward made her a little more uncomfortable, she attempted to forget about it. Taking a single step back, her eyes still on his, she only gave a little nod of her head. "I do not speak much, but you may talk if you wish..." Although te silence was beautiful and she felt very at home in it, she did want to hear his voice for real. Hearing it in her head only gave her a small bit of what it could be; what if he spoke much deeper in person? Though she knew his voice would not alter greatly, she was excited to listen to him for the first time nonetheless. [/blockquote]

His eyes still stayed locked on hers, not moving away from hers for a moment. She had seemed pleased when he said her name, and this felt like it was good news. Still, when he approached she did back up a little bit. Then she asked him a question, his eyes widening as he didn’t think that she would have asked that. The voice in his head sounded softly and sweetly, but it still caught him off guard as he did not expect what she had asked. With a tilt in his head and a smile, he finally spoke out through his throat and not his thoughts.
”Thank you. You’re really the only one who has noticed that about my name.” His voice was practically the same as it was in his thoughts, maybe just a little more scruff or raspy. He said this in a sort of surprised tone, but naturally a still rather nice one. Softening up his scratchy throat, he continued a little more. ”So, you want to call me Haibi?” His voice was revealing that he had been surprised. He thought one more, but this time to himself. I’ve always looked for someone to call me that, could this fae actually be the one I allow to? He thought it out for a few more moments.
With a small chuckle, and a wide smile, he spoke again. ”I would love it if you called me Haibi.” His head tilted and a closed smile still kept up on his maw, grinning stupidly but happily. Had he finally found a friend (he hoped she would allow that, at least) in this desolate land? He needed somebody to get close to, for he felt that the more he stepped away and got detached from wolves, the more he felt awkward on the planet. He could feel his skills somewhat lessening as he moved on, but he didn’t take too much notice in it.
He did feel the strong pang to get within a homeland of one of the packs, though. He felt the urge to need to belong to somewhere... for an alpha over him.

The silence was broken at last as the male uttered out his first few words to her. They came from his throat scratchily, as if on the way they gripped at the inside of his neck and just dragged up. He probably had something caught in there; a bit of mucus or he just needed to clear it. Either way she was greatful that he finally talked to her, even though she doubted that she would ever do the same. Her voice was never used; it was always sheathed in the bed of her mouth passage. It was rare for her to even use it to howl--but seeing as how she hadn't done that for awhile it was no grand feat. She belonged to no pack and therefor never communicated... Though she did wish she had a place to call home. To go on her own to an alpha's lands, though? Ridiculous. Crazy. Frightening. She could not do it by herself.
He cleared his throat before he spoke again, making the words come out much smoother than they previously had. These new words showed her that he had been surprised at her request. Then the silence began again, and both sat there staring at one another for a few quiet moments. To make the sudden oddness, she gave a nod of her head to answer his previous question. Although her head moved in a jolt kind of action, she did not blink while she did so. The air hit at her eyes, and it was then she began to notice how dry they were starting to get. She had been so worried about him doing some sort of secret movement and going after her, that she had forgot to blink. With a small and light hiss directed at herself, she finally closed her eyes. However, they were not like that for long, as she then reopened the sore things. Just in time for him to break his silence, too.
He agreed to letting her call him Haibi. She grinned shyly, and for the first time, she felt really attached to him; like they had known each other for years. She was not going to admit a single thing, but she did hope that he called her a friend as she now considered him one. It was difficult for her to still fully trust him, though, but she did not let that get in the way. "Well Haibi... Do you have any plans for this week?" she asked, trying to subtly hint that she wanted to spend more time with him. In no way a romantic way, either. Just as friends, and perhaps one day she would consider him to be like family. But love? If she even believed in it, she doubted she would ever settle for any wolf. Not that she felt too good... She just couldn't see herself in that sort of situation. It was too normal and too noticed. She liked to keep it low-brow, no matter the circumstances. The female across from him smiled really shyly, her face lighting up a little bit; unlike his grin which had been there for quite some time. Once more her voice trickled into his head, asking yet another question that he did not in the least expect. She was a quiet wolf, and it appeared hermond had been very fast paced, for she could switch from one thing to the other in a matter of moments. This was a good thing, because he felt he might not have known what not to say next based on how silent she had been. Luckily she could keep the conversation rolling.
He stared at her for a few momenta, his smile still stuck on his wide face. So I guess this is how we're going to communicate now, huh? this, of course, was thought in his own head and not transferred over to the older female. With a warm feeling deep inside of him, he continued again, I guess I sort of like talking to herthis way. It's different.. he pondered only for a few seconds, not really wasting any of the time he was dealt.
Hiss mouth opened before any words came out; small breaths of air escaping as he gaped it for a second. He knew what he wanted to say, but how he was going to say it perplexed him. A gasp of breathe exitted his throat as he finally closed the opening. With a chuckle, his voice finally started; seeping it's way out of the depths of his throat. "Well I was planning on joining a pack." he took a small pause for no apparent reason. "Would you join one with me? I mean you really are my only friend." his head tilted as he stood there waiting for an answer, hoping that she would join him.

She felt some tension pull on her muscles; knowing that she had somehow managed to make this moment awkward for the two of them. Unknowing of how she could have done something so severe so suddenly, she felt her body begin to stress. Anxiety began to build up in her tall and lithe body, scared and knowin that she flip-floppe the situation for the two. They were getting along so famously, she should not have opened her long muzzle and asked him that. It was much too soon to expect any sort of long-term friendship, and she had pressed it too far. She should have known that something like this were goin to happen; though she only had few friends within her life. She knew that she was practically socially inept, and that making such a strong move like so on him would turn her friendship around. She should have just hoped they'd run into one another again, and hoped that they would click as well as they did the first time they met. But no, she had to ruin a good thing and ruin it.
His mouth opened repeatedly, her slender ears lifting and straining forward to hear what he was going to say. Unfortunately her fears were coming true as not a single word slipped from the brown muzzle. The heart within her chest beat at a pace so rapid and so sketchy, that it hardly made any sort of real rythym. He had nothingto say to her, and the fact that he was opening his mouth like that with short breaths of air escaping? He was probably just trying to find a way to let her down nicely. She would remember this moment and learn from it, and if she ever met another wolf that was as nice to her as Haibi was, then she would not take them for granted and lose a friend as she had done just now. With a deep exhale, she tried to slow her heartrate. Maybe next time she would not mess up.
But then his words left his mouth, entering her ears so delicately that she suddenly shyly grinned. He didn't want her gone, after all...
"Haibi, I would love to join a pack with you. Which did you have on your mind?" her voice was still soft, her word spoken so quietly and calmly that if he weren't listening for her within his mind they would completely skip over his thoughts. The rate of the over adrenalined heart lowered, and came smoothly to a good pattern. The lungs took in air at a good beat, too, inhaling an exhaling all in time. Her grin stayed on her face this time, and she allowed her dry eyes to blink for a few seconds. He had called her a friend, and he did not hate her... She was openly happy about this. She finally had a future set out for herself. [/blockquote]

A new thing began to happen within the mind of this wolf, as he began to worry a little bit. This never happened to him, it was hardly an emotion worth mentioning. What if the female had thought that he was odd for asking her such a question like this? It was a brave and out of place to ask someone who he had just met. He tried to force such a negative thought out of his mind, but it wouldn't leave; but instead kept crossing in front of his frontal lobe time and time again. This was going to start getting him to a point where he was too nervous to even stand any longer… but then the female before him smiled.
It seemed every time that this female smiled, Haibi was overwhelmed with a feeling of joy. Slowly he began to calm down, with her voice sounding in his head once again. He returned her always pretty and shy smile, with his own confident and happy sideways grin. Somehow he felt the two of them understood each other, and he really appreciated that. And her, for that matter. The first sentence from her eased his mind and conscience, automatically making him happy once more. "Well I was thinking the Jager pack." His head tilted and quite a large smile laid placid on his tanned face.
His mind was sent to wandering again. So this is it… Do I finally have a lifelong friend? Or, perhaps, a long term one? He thought, not using his telepathy. He was hopeful, as he really felt like he clicked with this beautiful fae in front of him. Somehow he felt like she would need him. She didn't appear weak, but she seemed like she needed a friend; somebody to help her get through life. Though he knew she was probably more connected to the planet than to any other wolf, he felt he would break into that barrier and eventually become her best of friends. It was assuming and expecting a lot, but he was hopeful for it. His mind was set to traveling while he waited for the telepathic female to sound her voice within the void of his head once more.

Still locked onto the one who was placed before her, the mind of the wolfess in her prime began to wander delicately about. It traveled first to the fact they the entire time she had been in this large field, she had yet to see any sign of an animal. Scat and other small things showed proof that they in fact did live here, and although it was nighttime, it was still odd to not see a singular creature show it’s head. Her hunger was not high, though, and she was not looking for a feast. In fact, she took more of a liking to smaller things; like insects. Those fit her taste and her diet much more conveniently than an orinn or maru did. Now that she thought about it, a large black beetle sounded delicious to have for her dinner. Or perhaps even a worm...
Her mind was lost in thought when the dirt-colored male pulled her back into their reality. Oh right, a pack. The pack that the one before her had suggest made a real grin finally grow on her mouth, and not one that she had used too often that represented how shy she really was. He had chosen the exact pack that had been within her mind; the one that she wished to join since she came onto these lands. Her knees were weak at the thought of joining it beforehand; prior to meeting Haibi. Now that she had him, though, she felt just slightly more confident, and her stomach kept what she had for lunch down in it. It was now or never that occupied her mind at present, knowing that if they didn’t leave now for the pack she would change her mind and they would either end up never doing it or doing it at a much later date. Much later.
Stepping off and moving to the side of him, pointed in the northern direction, she peered at the shorter wolf with much happiness. ”Are you ready, sir?” She telepathically spoke once more, but this time, a strong sting hit her forehead. This often happened to her when she used her power to much, and she knew instantaneously that a headache was coming on... Nothing would ruin her great mood, however, and so she set one black foot down in the ground before her. She would show the way, but she hoped that he would take the lead and carry them to the lands of Bret’s. Hopefully he would be a kind and generous alpha; she didn’t know how she would handle somebody who didn’t want her to be there. [/blockquote] OOC: wanna start the new thread at Jager?
