The midnight blue wolf with a scar over his left eye made his way towards the waterfall. He was planning on drinking from the water at the base of it. His twin tails swished through the air as he walked, when suddenly he paused. The wind swished as it hit him full blast in the face. His ears leaned back in his head, as it slowed down. His nostrils flared as he caught the scent of wolves, a pack, riding on the wind. The wolf's eyes immediately swiveled in his head, searching for any suck wolf in sight. He saw no wolves but could catch the scent of them.
Confusion flooded the wolf's thoughts. He wondered where he was, where this pack was, where the wolves were. It seemed safe for the moment so eh stepped forward, towards the water at the base of the waterfall. His senses were alert, searching for any hint of a wolf. He was confused, but he wouldn't admit that he was a bit fearful. He was sure in his ability to fight, he could fight off any lone wolf, from any pack, he was sure. But if a group of them ganged up on him he wasn't sure he could hold his own
The wolf bent his neck as he he stuck his tongue out to drink.

Awoken way earlier than his brain normally permits, being commanded by Bella to go patrol the borders, by himself, and watch for intruders at the waterfall. However, being sent away from the pack had its brighter points. It was, finally, a break from the unrelenting submersion of estrogen that always nagged to him to go do something. In the brutes mind, this work that he was being forced to do was Omega’s work, not his own, being the snow white prince he is, but he couldn’t help but looking to the brighter side of being able to get away from the outnumbered outcasting of the pack of females. There was nothing good about being the only male in such a low rank, nothing at all.
Gracefully, picking up his feet unusually high due to the elbow-deep snow, he made his way from the dens, his ears alert, tail in an aggressive position, he could hold his pearlescent antler crown as high as he please without being chastised for just the carriage of his head. He was a gracefull, slightly aristocratic being who held himself with pride, he couldn’t help that fact, it was how he was raised, Adiemus shook his head at his thoughts, all of this being around nothing but females for a long period of time was causing him to become a shrewd brute, not the well-carried, gracefully spoken prince of snow that he truly was.
He stopped for a moment to collect himself, letting a sharp huff of air through his nostrils, causing a cloud to surround his face, hiding his crystalline blue eyes for a millisecond, then took in a sharp inhale, lifting his antlered head high and proud, changing his posture completely, when he was alone, he was his own rule, he could not help but get excited at this fact, he knew he was a trusted member of Bella’s pack, he knew that he would be considered to be a Beta, and then he would walk around like his true being at all times, even within the presence of the midnight fae with piercing purple eyes.
He thought to himself for a long moment about Bella, realizing that he was the only one of the Cerrac pack so far that did not shy from the fae’s stare, he had seed all of the females shy away and tremble in fear of the midnight colored female, but he did not move, he stared right back with his eerie crystalline blue eyes, in an almost defiant stlye, but not to the point where she would react.
He sighed with his paw pads met the cold stone which lead to the entrance of the packlands, alas, she did tell him to watch the entrance for intruders for a short while, so he would, as long as if it would keep him away from the tsunami of estrogen that awaited him back at the dens. As soon as the loud rushing form the waterfall reached his ears, it instantly brought back memories of the first time(which was not too long ago), he had set a paw on this frozen rock, made his way through this eerily lit cave into the lands, and he hoped that he would meet an intruder, maybe scare them a little more than the childish greeting he had received from Moonbeam, to prepare them for when Bella would arrive.
As soon as he peered from the ledge behind the waterfall, he caught sight of a darkly colored wolf drinking from the water beneath. A wicked grin twisted his jaw, displaying his pearly white maw of teeth. He let out a sharp breath, then slowly made his way down towards the other wolf, making sure that he would not be seen, or heard. As soon has his paws hit the snow near the water’s edge, he let out a sharp growl, ”You are intruding upon the Cerrac packlands, state your business here.” he held his crown high in a stag-like elegance, staring in a piercing fashion, straight through the other brute, he was prepared for anything.

Gale heard the crunch of snow under feet and abruptly flinched. He carried the flinching movement into a pivot and he crouched own staring at what was sure to be a rain of wolves coming down on him. He relaxed slightly when he saw it was only one wolf, although his senses were still on an alert. His eyes narrowed, an arrogant defiance spreading from the core of his eye to its outer hazel regions.
His lips curled back in a threatening posture, his fangs and teeth sharp and bared. His ears twitched at the white wolf, he did a quick scan searching for other wolves, but found none but the one. The one white wolf standing in front of him. His ears perked as the wolf spoke, he had not heard spoken words in a long time but still had not forgotten it. "To drink," Gale started bluntly, "from this water." In many other places the water was frozen over, but the fast rushing water of the waterfall was not. His twin tails swished first to the left, then to the right as Gale stared at the white wolf.
Gale's paws itched against the crunchy snow, he would not attack the white wolf. For Gale knew he was in the wrong, for trespassing on their lands. But still, he had not known, and he would defend against any attack. He would even kill his enemy if need be. Although he would prefer, to just be on his way. To resume the tortured life of the wandering rogue. His eyes narrowed as he glanced at the body of the white wolf. It was fuller then his, the wolf was clearly well-fed. Or at least fed better then he was. How? Gale wondered, did the members of the pack know some secret? They knew how to hunt? How to catch prey?

The glow of the ice hit her pupils as it always did when she got near the entrance to the pack. As she approached the entrance, she got close enough to hear the water rushing outside, her steps quickening to almost mimic the louder crashing of the water. Something did not smell right, and chances were somebody was near her or even on her lands. This was almost a daily routine now, as she greeted and either turned away or allowed a wolf into her lands. Cerrac was growing, and getting stronger by the day; soon even the male-dominated Jagers wouldn’t be able to keep up.
Turning a small corner, she peered around it, the icy wall breaking way and showing Adiemus right where he should be. Immediately, her eyes went to a glare at the sight of his stance, holding himself high as if he were beta or even the leader of her pack. He was not a high rank; he was not even close with Bella. When not in Bella’s presence or on duty, then it was fine to walk any way you wished, but on the job, others must see you for what you really are. A significant amount of irritation flooded her bloodstream.
Her ears twitched as she heard the white male growl toward the waterfall, Adiemus’ words were however muffled to her. Deciding to no longer stand in the background and observe, she walked toward him with a low growl in her throat. Most would think it was toward the other that she had growled at, but no, she was more in concern with her member not showing his place. The purple eyes drifted to the alerted wolf on the other side, then slowly drug back to the antlered one. Adiemus, lower your head and step down. Her voice aggressive and demeaning Her death glare stuck on the pure white antlered male until her head turned to the waterfall.
Bella hadn’t heard completely what the wolf said, but enough that she could respond. Her voice held a dominant tone, that at this point had become her normal one; You look weak, how long have you been a loner? Her posture held tall and strong, she only asked because none could survive alone; especially since this male wolf looked smaller than average. When she became an alpha, she had been given a sight of what happens to those without a pack for extended time, although it didn’t phase her on how these wolves die; for the ones that crossed her path, she did not wish for them to suffer.

Gale growled at the appearance of another wolf. He crouched down into a position from which he could easily attack or defend. His claws scratched the snow as his lips curled back higher so that his fangs glinted at The Alphess. At first he though the she-wolf was glaring at him. before he followed her gaze to Adiemus. When she spoke to him, he was surprised by the question. His voice half growling he answered " A month."
Gale had been traveling with a group of wolves over the land. They had known n how to hunt, so did Gale. They had acquired prey. But now, Gale couldn't. It escaped his grasp. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't even catch the smallest, slowest, weakest prey.
On the other hand even the new she-wolf seemed better off then him. It was obvious, they both knew how to hunt. Would they show him? Teach him? He doubted it, but it was worth a try. He feared his stomach would roar with hunger at any moment and shame him. So he spoke quickly. His voice guttural from rare usage over the past month. "You know how to hunt." It was a statement, and a question. He silently waited for confirmation as his twin tails swished.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,450,true] | [atrb=background,http://i42.tinypic.com/152erfq.png] The weak male’s reaction to Adiemus’ interruption to his little drink from the waterfall was almost humorous, but he kept his laugh to himself, mentally laughing to the point in which he couldn’t breathe, but his facial expression remained the same. The male’s response shocked him, the sarcasm that dripped from his voice angered the white brut to no end. “To drink. From this water.” How dare he, anger boiled up into Adiemus’ chest like bile, but he held it back. He would await the other wolf’s choice of action before making up his own. ”Well. Now that we’ve stated to obvious…” but his train of thought was abruptly interrupted by the strong, aggressive voice of Bella “Adiemus lower your head and stand down.” He had no choice but to do so, no matter how much he resented it, he lowered his natural crown, directing a sharp glare at Bella once she looked to the intruder to speak. The intruder let out a low growl as Bella approached the two of them, it almost shocked Adiemus that this intruder would have the nerve to growl at the leader of the pack.
“You look weak, how long have you been a loner?” her expression was soft, but you could see her mind working deep within her purple gaze, Bella might be a little insane, but she sure as hell isn’t dumb, for what he knew, and he wanted to keep that outlook upon his leader, though he did not like her aggressive leadership, he couldn’t help but take a liking to his pack’s leader, he had no choice. He answered Bella’s question in a low, growling voice “A month.” You could tell he was still suspicious, despite Bella’s hospitality, which shocked even Adiemus, he had not seen this much compassion from Bella in the short time he had been in the Cerrac pack, he kind of liked this side of his Alpha.
He could see the intruder’s mind working, the gears were turning behind his eyes dull eyes, he had been without a pack for too long, he was worse off that Adiemus had ever been, and definatley worse off than anyone he had seen within the Cerrac pack upon becoming part of the ranks. The male spoke quickly, his voice was guttural, and cracked, it seemed he had not come into contact with any wolves in far too long, the antlered brute was shocked that this male had not been driven insane from being cut off for so long. “You know how to hunt.” He stated, Adiemus was slightly confused by this statement… or was it a question? He guessed both. He couldn’t help but nod his head Yes. his voice was ice cold, monotone, he did not show and ounce of inflection within his words, staying completely disinterested from this situation, remaining a bystander, and a protector for his alphess. Taking this approach would land him on Bella’s good side sooner or later anyways…. He hoped.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9115/bellatm1.png] Bella was amused as Adiemus stepped down, although when she looked to the intruder she somehow felt he had not enjoyed being told to do so. Glancing over to the pearl colored wolf, she chuckled lightly, speaking quietly and directly to him. Glaring at me won’t help the fact that you’re still a member, her voice trailed for a moment, before returning, and currently that’s the way it’s going to stay for quite awhile. She showed clearly her annoyance, the tone she used being stern and yet uniquely feminine.
Removing her purple gaze, she made it very apparent that Bella was a lot more mad at her member than the stranger who had been in a fighting stance. This was the moment that she took to look over the smaller creature. He was young, so youthful; as well as small for his gender. For whatever reason, he was extremely on edge; Bella assumed that this had come from being a loner for such a long amount of time. Twitching her nose, she heard the small amount of words he spoke.
The alpha’s attention was dragged back to reality when the weak loner spoke once again. A month? How are you still alive? Though the much older wolves could survive for a few months, one as little as this one could have been swept away in moments. Adiemus jumped in with his own words before she had a chance to speak, making her jolt her head in his direction in an irritated fashion, but she knew he was here to help just in case this wolf caused her any problems; therefore held the growl in her throat.
We know how to hunt, a small and very subtle chuckle let loose from her maw as she stared at the wolf’s stance. The only one that’s going to hurt you here is yourself; if you continue going on without a pack. Her words were amused, although very truthful.
