The sea of whites and crystal blues made her an obvious target for anybody’s eyes, and she had no care that it did. She was not falling asleep, no, not even a little bit, but merely recalling on her past. You could often find Bella’s purple eyes dazing off in a random direction, showing that she was lost in the thoughts within her brain. It was rare to see her actually drink from the clear blue lake, as this was mostly a spot where she would come to get away from many.
Today her thoughts were not bad ones, reflecting back on all of the friends that she had while she was growing up; being but a small pup. Back to her later lover who was always there for her, as her best friend and as her man; Royce. What would it be like to run into beings from the past? How would her old pack treat her now, knowing that she was innocent? They would attack her, she knew that. Royce, no, he would never turn on her even if he had wanted to. She just couldn’t see him doing it.
He was the only one who believed whatever she had said, regardless of what she told him. Even if the story sounded completely ridiculous, he would listen, and go along like she wasn’t crazy at all. There was no judgement from his muddy brown eyes, but in fact affection. Because of all of these good traits, she held a high respect for him, and therefor was the only one that she had never lied to.
Ebony head moving downward, she watched the water underneath calmly going; the sun hitting the spot at just the right angle that it caused a blue shimmer on the wolfess’ face. The colors mixed beautifully, the blue churning within the black, and in the middle of this harmonious shades of black and light blue, lay a very deep and defined purple. This would be the perfect picture to paint, if one had ever wanted artwork of Bella. It was relaxed and held her in a calm state; one that was positively a good sign.

Tectonic
We Meet Again [/color] Morning had been a rather productive time. Tonic had slept well in her newly claimed den, since it was secluded from the other members. It wasn't that she was anit-social or anything, though it would appear that way at times, she just didn't feel comfortable being around others with whom she didn't have any kind of relationship with. She was kind of what others would like to call, reclusive or a loner, which was completely fine with her because that was how she'd been for several years. Being alone was nothing new for the crimson stained raven fatal.
Once awake and fully conscious, the decision had been made to find something to eat. Still somewhat unaccustomed to the layout of Cerrac, it taken her just a bit longer than usual to find something that would feed a fatal with her type of apetite. Since she mostly flew everywhere, her body burned twice as many calories as opposed to running. Because of this, she had to hunt large prey to make up for the insane amount of calories that she burned on a daily basis.
The hunt had been quick and efficient, replenishing the dame's lost energy. After leaving the scraps for any scavangers that might wander by, Tonic had taken to the air to simply have a look around the lands, see if she ran into anyone. Not a single figure came into her view until she came to pass over the Nehvyv Lake. Focusing her turquoise gaze, a black mass came into focus. There was only one wolf who possesed such a pure, sable pelt; Bella. A kind of fascinated shock held her in place, her wings flapping gently to keep her suspended in the air. Her alpha seemed calm as she lay across the frozen ice, simply basking in the warm glow of the sun. She remained hovering for several moments, studying the alpha, wondering what she could be doing out all alone in the middle of a frozen lake.
Flashbacks from her first meeting with Bella flashed across her mind. She could clearly recall the grin and tone of acceptance that had announced her welcoming among the Cerrac wolves. The onyx queen looked quite peaceful simply lying among the sea of ice, so Tonic took that as a good sign. With the decision made to join her alpha, feathered appendages were tucked tight into her body as the vixen dive-bombed towards the lake. Chilled air rushed past her body, whipping her dark pelt in a stream-line fashion. The ground was coming up fast and when she was about fifteen from the lake her wings shot out, breaking her downwards hurl, sending a huge air current in the direction of Bella, though not quite reaching her since she'd been careful to come down a good distance away as to not disturb the queen.
The momentum from her downward plummet propelled her forward as her body recovered from the initial impact of the quick halt. Circling around once, the onyx crimson flecked vixen touched down several yards from the resting leader. Sable, crimson padders carried the non-ranked female towards the second female, her massive wings held aloft as the burning slowly began to die down. Good day my queen. How are you? Vocals were polite, respectful and curteous, as was due to someone with such a rank. She just hoped she didn't come off sounding like a kiss-ass, because that wasn't at all her intention. She just meant to be respectful. If Bella wished to be called by her name instead, then Tonic would comply. But for now, my queen was sufficient.

Her royal gaze noticed her newest member, flying just a bit away from her in the air. She watched her a for a little bit, as Tectonic swooped down, dive-bombing the ground that she was laying on. There was no fear in the eyes of the female, knowing that there had to be some sort of plan for her extensive actions. Releasing her eyes from the onyx wolf, she placed them back on the rushing water underneath her.
She was unsure as to what about the water had caused her to be so calm; easing her mind as she looked deeply into it. All that she did know was that she loved the cold that ice had brought her, and although most had hated it, she really enjoyed it. Others could barely stand what it was, and most others wouldn't even chance to walk where she was currently laying. This was her favorite place to unwind for that very same reason. Ears twitching, she turned about to see the female had landed none too far from where she was. In fact, she was speaking to Bella.
Face turned to the new wolf, she locked onto the other's eyes. Her facade was emotionless, but not threatening; somewhat calm though still unreadable. My Queen? She thought, her expression still unchanging as she continued her thinking You and Adiemus just get off on saying things like that, don't you? She recalled back to when she met Tectonic and the pure white male, Adiemus; although since then she had yet to see him poke his head out. The only male in her pack was practically M.I.A.
Good day, Tonic. Her voice was welcoming, as if she was allowing the other one to approach. I'm just fine, how about you? How are you finding the lands? Once again her tone was welcoming. This pack was a lot more fortunate than the last she was in, and so far she had been attempting to make friends within it.
In her last pack, she had only one friend and one mate. Her friend had only been there because they had met when they were pups, and had stuck together ever since. A sudden sharp shake of her head snapped her train of thought, and she focused more on the female in front of her. There was no time for her to just think of such things.

Tectonic
The Start of a Friendship Perhaps? [/color] The dame's earlier assumption had been right; her alpha was in a relaxed enough mood that she was willing to accept company although it seemed she had come out to perhaps be alone. Tonic was glad that luck was on her side this day. Bella was a superb alpha, who looked to be like one who was fair yet firm. Not only did the dark queen's appearance speak volumes of what could be done to those who undermined her power, but also the way she carried herself. Although Tonic was an excellent fighter and had been trained from the time she could walk, she knew it was best to keep someone like Bella as an ally rather than an enemy.
The burning having gone away completely now, the crimson stained vixen tucked her feathered appendages back along her spine to use on a later occasion. The position in which she had found the alphaess told her that this perhaps was going to be a stationary conversation, which of course was completely fine with her. As her words reached Bella's ears, the larger female turned her crown towards Tonic, her violet eyes locking with her own turquoise ones. The queen's facade was emotionless and unreadable, so she couldn't tell if she had chosen the right words to greet with. Her self-doubt quickly faded away as she was presented with a welcoming answer, a ghost of a smile flickering across her ebon lips at hearing her nickname instead of her entire name. I am quite fine. Dome was tipped downwards slightly in a subtle sign of respect before continuing. Cerrac is a very beautiful place and I am adjusting well.
Taking a moment from their conversation, Tonic made a quick survey of their surroundings, making sure there wasn't anyone that had decided that it would be a good idea to come create chaos. It wasn't that she was expecting anyone to jump out of the blue and come attack her. It was just something that had been drilled into her from pup-hood; be aware of your surroundings. Countless times this undying habit had saved her skin, so it was of good use. Once sure that there wasn't an iminent danger, turquoise gems refocused back on Bella as her haunces folded beneath her, bringing her to a sitting position.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9115/bellatm1.png] The fae she directed her attention to spoke; highly, actually, of the lands that she now occupied and the beauty of it. With a grin, Bella slightly chuckled, That’s why I chose it. It’s hidden, beautiful, and I have a preference to being cold. The others head drifted a little to the side, the purple eyes looking up deeply into Tonic’s. Bella knew that look all-too-well, as she had used it many many times beforehand. Surprisingly, her new member was just as cautious as she had been.
A natural sly grin found its place comfortably on the maw of the leader, watching as the other sat. No need to worry about intruders. She blurted, pointing out that she was obviously analyzing the wolf in front of her. Before I relax here, I survey my pack lands to make sure there are no threats. It was a very consistent schedule, too. Slightly, she hoped, that these words would calm the other down, as she had met so many that were too tense with any conversation; in turn causing the black wolf to be paranoid.
Her front paws slowly lifted, bringing her body up from her laying position and sitting upright, tail up and proud as always. Most didn’t get why she was proud, for they saw her history as menacing and cruel; but she knew what she did and wouldn’t set herself in another place.
With a deep exhale, she dug for some conversation, Have you met any of the other members yet? It was an assumption that Tectonic had seen the wolves around, but doubted that they had conversed. She had a feeling most of the wolves in her pack did not interact, and it bothered her. They needed to be tight-nit and ready for anything should something happen. Perhaps she would assemble the wolves together and they could finally meet and mingle.

One Can Never Be Too Cautious [/color] A sense of pride spread through the fatal's body as she noticed a grin part her alpha's jaws when her words reached the dark queen's ears. The chuckle that accompanied the grin only helped to reafirm her suspicion that she was starting to get on Bella's good side. Maybe in time, the two dark dames could possibly become friends. It would be something to look forward to.
Her own tentative smile broke across her facade at the mention of cold. I don't mind the cold much. I have my own heater to keep me nice and toasty. Tonic chuckled quietly, a plume of smoke drifting away from her powerful jaws as the fire in her belly stirred slightly. That aside, it hadn't escaped her attention when she'd been examining their surroundings that Bella's striking violet eyes had been watching her closely, examining her every move. Once she'd finished and her gaze had resettled back onto the queen, she'd noticed the look of what appeared to be approval in that purple gaze. The dark winged vixen lifted her head slightly higher, her chest puffing out just the slightest bit. She liked the fact that Bella approved of her. Made her feel that much more welcomed in Cerrac.
A slight look of sheepishness crossed her facade as her leader pointed out her obvious scouting, though her words were not reprimanding. It struck her as odd that Bella would be doing something that required so much work. Shouldn't she have some wolves with that responsibility on their shoulders, rather than hers? My queen, forgive me if I sound rude, but shouldn't someone else be out guarding the lands? As our ruler, I believe you should be focusing more on other things, not so much on our safety when others could take on that responsibility. As the words left her jowls, Tectonic wondered if Bella could sense her want to become a warrior. It didn't suit the winged female to be just another pack member. She wanted to have a purpose. More exactly, she wanted to become a warrior in order to be able to protect not only her leader but the rest of her family as well. But, she didn't want to just go out and say it. In her mind, she felt that somehow she would have to demonstrate that she deserved to be given that position.
Pushing those nagging thoughts aside, her attention was brought back to the present by the position shifting of the dark queen, who went from lying down to sitting, her dark plume of a tail resting proudly behind those powerful haunches. A question from her leader hung unanswered in the air between the two. As of now, I have not run into anyone else. Perhaps I am to reclusive. Shoulders rose in a nonchalant shrug. She wasn't to concerned about meeting the rest of her pack. She would meet them if and when the time was right. Turquoise gems flickered briefly once again over the landscape, spotting no one before returning to rest on Bella.

Her smile kept as the other spoke, unwavering. Then, with a slightly confused look, she had found that Tonic had answered her question. (The one before, about meeting other members.) She hadn't even spoken to any others, not even the wolf Moonbeam; Bella's annoying pack member. That was unusual, even for a new member. Her tail twitched, wrapping it around the ebony far, after a glance down at her perfectly groomed tail.
Looking back up, she spoke, I must say I'm surprised you have yet to meet anyone. With her head turned back to the only other dark wolf in the pack, she once again voiced herself, There are spots open for warriors but even when I have them I'll survey the area. Most alpha's don't get it either, but along with my responsibility I take up all other members duties. That, by now, is just a force of habit. She really did have a lot on her plate, but so far it had helped run the pack rather smoothly and it kept things together nicely.
The smirk from before again found it's rightful place on her maw, and again she talked, feeling rather chatty/ Tectonic, her voice questioning, do you wish to have the warriors test given to you? I must warn you… when it comes to the warriors, I personally train them. Bella seemed to always say that when she had a hint that a position was sough after. Normally after saying she was the personal trainer, many would step down. This test was actually the obstacles that Bella went through as a pup, and only after she got them perfect was she allowed to go on to more advanced training. Her experiencing that later in life made her put others through it, showing how harsh and ruthless it was. As the muscular body of Bella sat there waiting for an answer, in her head she secretly hoped she would say yes.

Let Me Prove Myself [/color] The female found that the answers to Bella's questions were easily sliding from her ebon lips, seemingly without thinking. To her relief, after analyzing her responses, they didn't seem to be inappropriate or anything to that degree. Worry creased her eyebrow at catching sight of a confused look on her leader's face. Had something she said not sat right with the dark queen?
The reason for the confusion on Bella's features came in the form of the queen's responding words. The worry crease that dipped her brow vanished as she came to understand. From the way it was said, it looked be as though her not running into anyone else so far was something certainly strange. Tonic made a mental note to herself to keep an eye out for her fellow pack-mates. Auditory system perked forward attentively as the anxiously awaited answer flowed from her leader's jaws. Ah, I see now. Although I still feel that the pack should help in contribute to keeping their lands safe. That unsureness from before faded away and was replaced by self-assurance now that she knew that she could voice her opinions without the consequence of being reprimanded.
Her attention drifted away for a moment as she readjusted her sitting position, stretching her wings out a bit as to not let them fall asleep before her attention was snapped back by the appearance of an earlier smirk on Bella's lips. A rush of adrenaline flooded her system as the queen mentioned exactly what had been on Tonic's mind since the day she had joined. I've been waiting for this opportunity since I arrived on your lands my queen. She couldn't hide the smile that crossed her dark lips as Bella added that she would be personally be training her if she accepted. I couldn't ask for a better trainer. Skull bowed deeply to the queen in thanks and respect. A light of determination shone in Tectonic's turquoise gaze as she watched the queen, awaiting her reaction to her acceptance.

A bow given by the other, the head of the pleased alphess nodding in approval. She would finally have the chance to test her system out; complimenting herself as she figured it would be a significantly good one. I must say, I’m glad to hear that. Oddly her voice was mocking, for many hadn’t tried her tests. With a quick kick up, she stood, her black paws slowly making her way across the frozen lake toward Tonic.
There are three of these tests, she spoke while she walked, her voice loud and commanding; a powerful and yet somehow feminine stride given to the walk as she neared Tonic. The first sounds simple at first: you must catch an Orinn. The tone was somewhat sly, a little misleading, higher and a little playfully mischievous. In seven seconds; the Orinn having a head start. Though it seemed like a hunters task, it would test the wolf’s agility and speed.
As she explained to the member, she thought back and remembered when she had to do it for her first time. All three were difficult, but very vital and had taught her the ways of how to do things right. She was only a pup of six months, right after her mother had died. She could not pass any of the tests, and did not care to; mainly based on the fact that she thought they were a waste of time. Her memories flashed out of her mind and her focus became completely back to reality.

'Aint Nothing To It but To Do it [/color] The day just seemed to be getting better by the moment. It had started out simply as a time of exploration, to get to know her home better and perhaps make some new friends. She never would have thought that she would run into the alphaess and begin forming a friendly relationship, much less finally have the chance to prove that she deserved to be called a Cerrac warrior. And yet, here she was. Fate was clearly on her side at this point.
Tectonic's respectful bow was met with a nod of approval from Bella, which was pretty much the equivalent of a bow, if not better. As the queen spoke her opinion, it was somewhat odd to the winged creature to hear a mocking tone lace the alpha's words. As she processed the words, she got a feeling that perhaps no one before had dared to take instruction under a vixen with such power as Bella. A satisfied smirk flashed across her dark lips for a moment at the thought that she was the first one before it disappeared once more.
Bella had stood and begun walking towards Tonic, so she took that as her cue to stand as well. Shifting back into a standing position gave her the chance to stretch her wings once again, since keeping them tucked for a long period of time wasn't really all that comfortable. Her fine ears were erect and standing to attention, absorbing every single word that was uttered from the queen's jowls, knowing that it was vital she pay extremely close attention. This was her chance to finally prove herself and she didn't want to mess it up.
There are three of these tests. The first sounds simple at first: you must catch an Orinn. From what she heard, it sounded pretty simple as it was said, but from Bella's tone, she could tell that there was something else behind it. In seven seconds; the Orinn having a head start. There it was; the catch that Tonic had seen coming. Images of fleeing Orinn flashed across her mind, pumping adrenaline through her massive body as a more rapid rate. Those small creatures were fast, but she was up to the challange. She only had one question though.
I have only one question: Am I allowed to fly in order to complete the task? She hoped that she would be allowed to. It wasn't that she was clumsy on her feet or anything, that was hardly the case, it was just in order to catch an Orinn, one had to be stealthy. She couldn't think of a better way to sneak up on such a creature than flying in. Sure, they most likely had winged predators that they look out for, but surely they'd never expect a flying lupine to come at them. Not only that, but she was much, much faster in the air than she was on land. The female waited patiently for an answer.

This fear had been reoccurring in her mind, though, and she couldn’t seem to shake it. It had been too long since she had given this test, and it had always been her favorite to give; always seeing how the wolf went about them and how they chose to do things. Even better, this wolf in front of her did not freak out when asked if they wanted to do it. Many before had either overflowed with excitement, to the point of being utterly annoying, or ended up panicking that these tests would get themselves killed.
Bella would never let it get that extreme.
Her eyes gazed in the direction of Tectonic as she asked her question. Her tracks stopped, with quick second to ponder the answer to what she had just been asked. Winged wolves weren’t an average creature, and so she had never been given the opportunity to test one. She pondered whether or not to allow it for a few moments, although she did not show any signs that she had been even considering; just continuing a dull, blank stare right in the ebony wolf’s direction.
Not at first. She started, a devious grin sliding up her facial features as the adrenaline pumped through her at this new testing. This task simulates if another should get into our lands. First you must run, not giving yourself away to the enemy, and then you may open your wings to fly; just to make the final chase. That grin stayed on her mouth the entire explanation, the rest of the female’s body staying stone cold still.
Royal purple gaze drifting, she looked to the orinn that she had in mind this entire time; knowing that it had been there but not pointing it out to the wolf who had to catch it. Gesturing to it with her nose, she pointed to it’s location, still smiling. There’s your target. A grey and white orinn stood, as if it had not noticed the wolves. Taking a seat, she prepared to watch the challenge unfold.

Tectonic
Let The Fun Begin [/color] As the silence extended between the two fatals, Tectonic's mind couldn't help but wander. Momentary worries began to float around in her mind. Would she pass the test? Would she be able to catch the orinn within the seven second limit? Would she be allowed to try once again if she failed the first time around? Her heart pumped rapidly inside her massive chest, proving her large body with sufficient oxygen-rich blood.
Her musings were interrupted when she noticed Bella's royal violet gaze turn towards her as her question reached the queen's ears. The winged fatal watched her leader with anticipation, trying to see if her facade would give anything away. Unfortunately the alphaess was good at keeping her thoughts our of her face and so Tonic couldn't tell what her decision could be. She'd started to think that maybe she wasn't going to be allowed to use her wings in the chase when Bella spoke, putting her worries to rest.
Attention was completely engrossed with the alpha lady as she explained exactly what she was to do. A brief nod of understandment was given to Bella as the information registered. A thrill of excitement rushed down her spine as she caught the devious grin on the queen's dark lips; she had to do good.
Muscles began to tense as the vixen readied herself to begin her assigned task. Her turquoise eyes followed to where Bella gestured, spotting the gray and white orinn who stood not to far from the two females, closer to the surrounding forrest than to the lake. With a second nod of understandment, Tonic was off. Her muscular body moved easily across the ice as she moved behind her leader, circling around the lake. There was no breeze which helped to keep her scent hidden for the most part. She figured if she moved away, as if to leave, then the orinn wouldn't become alarmed and instead relax, since Bella would make no move towards it. Obsidian padders were silent against the frozen water as she placed herself within the forest surrounding the lake.
Ivory sheets covered the ground and so the female took extra caution as to where she placed her paws as to not make so much noise and scare her target away. She lowered her dark body as close to the white snow as possible, her wings tucked in tight against her body as she slowl approached. Her eyes could detect the movement of the small creature as it studied its surroundings, looking for predators. Tonic stalked closer and closer, step by step, careful to make the least amount of noise possible. She brought herself to a halt about two or three feet from the small orinn, enough room for her to charge and take flight to complete the last part of her task. Her body was like a tightly coiled spring as she unfolded her wings just slightly, preparing for the oncoming flight. Smoke curled away from her jaws as the fire in her belly stirred. Should she use her fire to capture the orinn, or would Bella consider that to be unfair? The raven winged female crouched stone-still, waiting for the perfect moment to pounce.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/9115/bellatm1.png] Her purple eyes watched every movement of the wolf under the warrior’s test, slowly and interestingly drifting from time to time to the orrin. Her thoughts began to count, keeping track of all of the time she spent trying to kill the creature. One... two... In her mind the pace was slowly, stretching it out to keep it a more fair trial. Should she add Mississippi seconds? No, that was stupid and childish; Bella knew better than that.
When she saw Tonic inching closer, a single thought went through her head. Too easy. Taking a minimal step closer to the challenge, she placed herself in a much better sitting position for the ‘game’ at hand. It needs to run. Bella got deviously delighted, feeling excited with tampering with the test. She loved to meddle; to mess it up and cause them just a little more trouble. If they could prove themselves this way, that would earn extra points; as it was a little more difficult, no?
Angling her head in the immediate direction of the orrin, she gave a ferocious growl, containing just a small bit of a bark. It was loud enough to carry right over to it, but from the space it obviously didn’t get the full effect. The acute hearing of the animal picked it up, and sure enough, it started away from the winged one. She found it her personal job to make these tests harder and harder, and hopefully the threat would give the wolf a little bit more of a workout. She was a fighter, after all, not a hunter; these things were meant to have quick precision and fast reflexes.
Sitting there, she looked to Tectonic to see the reaction the wolf would have. Bella devised a way for the wolf to catch her prey, but she kept this silently to herself; locked away in her head. Only once she had been accepted would Bella give out pointers, as only then would it not be considered cheating. Picking up from where she left off, she continued to count, Three... Four... Once again she let that devious smile crawl up her mouth.

Tectonic
Let's Do This The Hard Way Everything was going good. Tonic had approached the orinn up to the point where she was close enough to pounce. Her quarry had yet to notice her, and she preffered that it stay that way. Things seemed to be working in her favor. She could still pass the test yet.
Obviously, she spoke too soon. Just when she was about to go for it, a vicious snarl errupted from her left, originating from the direction in which Bella was located. What was the alpha lady doing?! Confusion flooded her brain her as her turquoise eyes registered the movement of the orinn as it fled. Confused yet unwavered, Tonic lept after her prey, her strong limbs bringing her closer to her target as she followed through.
Her large wings were now unfurled, ready to take her into the air. She chased the creature around the lake for a few seconds before she lifted herself into the air. The orinn continued running for several more feet before it stopped, realizing that it was no longer being chased. Whilst it halted, trying to figure out where exactly the predator had gone, the charcoal-crimson streaked fatal climbed higher and higher into the atmosphere until she was just about tree-top height. She hovered for just a second before doing an arial back-flip, tucking her wings into her side as she dove down towards her prey.
The lake began rushing up towards her quickly and she knew this was her moment to finish the job. Opening up her jaws and exposing her ivory dentures, Tonic crashed onto the ice as her mouth closed over the orinn's spine. The force of her impact caused the ice to giveway beneath her and let her massive body fall into the icy water. The chill of the lake was immediately felt in her whole body, but she was well-equipped with the fire in her belly. Letting the heat from the fire stirring in her abdomen spread throughout her body, she chased the chill away to allow her limbs to move through the water to bring her back to the surface.
Her head broke the surface, the now dead orinn still held firmly in her jaws. Tonic moved towards the edge of the ice, placing her front paws upon it as she deposited her prize. Taking a huge gulp of air, the massive fatal hoisted her herself out of the water, slipping once or twice before her paws were firmly planted on the ice. Limbs were braced at her sides as she shook her thick dark coat out, flinging icy moisture everywhere. It took her a couple of good shakes to really get most of the water of her fur and her wings of course before she was able to reclaim her prize and trot back towards the dark queen. The carcass was dropped at the alpha's feet, her turquoise gaze flickering to Bella's. Her chest inflated and deflated as the adrenaline slowly began to ebb from her system. Nothing came from her vocals, preferring to let the alpha tell her how she had done. She only hoped she had passed within the seven second limit.

The orinn ran quickly, the wolf darting after it just as fast if not faster. Words quiet, she spoke to herself (although it appeared that it could be said to Tectonic) Oh, yes, just chase the orinn until you catch it. That's never been done before. Sarcasm laced her words and played enticingly with them, a gleam shining over her toothy smirk as it slipped mischievously up her maw. How exactly was she going to beat out the time? This was always the best part of the test; the very last moments when things were so excruciatingly challenging.
Though she was caught off guard as one thing randomly threw itself into the mess; Tonic lifting herself quickly into the air and the orinn pausing in it's steps. Was this really her last hope? The grin from her sadistic lips slid as she now intently watched; hoping and waiting for the outcome. Though she made it appear that she didn't want Tonic to pass, it was actually quite the opposite. Every member that took the test, Bella wanted to have them overcome it. It wasn't that there had been no hope for her members, she just made it appear that way so that she could keep the sort of outlook she already had; a very tough and strenuous alphess that took absolutely no shit.
Thinking back to every previous tester, she came to the realization that this had to have been the oddest test ever given. While still in thought, the leader noticed that the prey was stuck out in the middle of the ice, apparently confused at the now missing predator. Bella's eyes opened in bewilderment as suddenly she realized the plan of the winged wolf, for a second fearing what would happen. Any deeper in the ice, and she'd just crush against the strength of the frozen water. Luckily, this was a little closer to the shoreline.
As she popped her head out from the water, a long sigh escaped the black maw. There had to be some sort of power in that wolf that kept her from freezing, but what did it matter? She caught the creature, brought it right back like an obedient dog, and dropped it right at Bella's paws. This was something she liked.
When it fell from her mouth, the leader spoke, her tone drawn out in a very ridiculing fashion. That has to be the most interesting way that anyone has ever caught it. Taking a moment, she lifted her paw and placed it over the meal, claiming it as her own. You managed to catch it within the target time; completing at six seconds. A sudden exhale as the misty breath surrounded both of their faces.
Now, do you wish to continue, or rest?
